I guess Keurig didn't want to make the re-usable filter better tasting than the K-Cups or you'd stop buying the K-Cups. Pulling the rubber washer down to the tip of the metal point that pierces the K-Cup fixes the water overflowing. However, the water still flows too quickly and brews a weak cup of coffee. To fix this, I took a USED K-Cup with the hole in the bottom, removed the foil from the top, removed all the plastic liner inside the K-cup, then placed the "hollowed" K-Cup into the filter housing. You may need to turn the housing upside-down on the counter and press firmly to get it to go in far enough. Then put the removable filter basket in and put the lid on. This slows the water flow to make the coffee stronger. Very happy with product now.

This item is a great investment. 1 Use K-cup pods cost over $1 each even when bought in bulk. Using this reusable filter, just by any coffee you want, put a spoonful in, and brew your cup of joe. Easy to use and clean and will definitely save you money in the long run.

I bought this item for my dad and he loves it. We both use it and are both very impressed with how easy it is to use, and how great the coffee compares to coffee made in a regular coffee machine.

No better way to get the most bang for your buck than to save a little and use this reusable coffee filter and fill it with your own personal coffee!

This works perfectly for my Keurig. I have the k45 model. I love that I can use my own coffee with my Keurig and I know it's saving me money.

I have used this and found to be a very useful addition to Keruig K-cup coffee machine. It is used with ground coffee and thus can be used instead of the K-cups. Therefore you can use any ground coffee and thus save money and allow a degree of flexibility to the machine.

Kcups get pricy after a while and this is a great alternate solution. I think I over pack it so it makes a small mess but it is worth it. Saves money and you get to buy your favorite coffee

Very economical. Requires cleaning every time but takes the bite out of having to pay for expensive K-cups. Coffee grinds are easiest to clean out of the filter if you clean up shortly after use.

This filter is great for the Keurig machine, You can use it with your regular coffee. If you purchase this item, you don't have to buy the kcup coffee. I love It!!!

I was expecting a screened cup that would look like a Keurig cup. It actually looks like the thing the Keurig cup fits into. When you pull out the cup holder to replace with this piece, they look just alike. Works great.

It is easy to use, if you overfill and do not compact the coffee it spills. It is good to make one cup, if you want to make multiple cups, it gets messy.

I bought the my k-cup so that I could use it at work where I drink most of my coffee. I didn't wan to spend a lot of money on k-cups so I bought a bag of gourmet coffee to use. I still get a great cup of coffee but without all the extra money spent. This product is super easy to use. You just pop out the k-cup holder with the needle, fill up the my k-cup, and drop the My k-cup in. It's that simple. Clean up is an extra step though. You have to dump out the coffee grounds and wash it out versus just throwing a k-cup away.

I bought this so that I could use my regular coffee grounds with the Keurig. It's not as simple as the K-cups but once you learn how to use it, it works well.

If you like brewing specialty coffees this is a must have for a keurig owner. Being able to pack grounds of your favorite coffee and brewing it with your keurig machine is a nice addition.

This reusable K cup is environmentally friendly and saves money on the disposable, one time use cups. Definitely worth the money!

My girlfriend likes to use French Vanilla coffee from dunkin donuts & she thinks the K cups are too expensive. So this gives her the option of using whatever coffee she likes & saves money.

Was hesitant to buy the Keurig due to the environmental issues I have with the plastic pods....this is great and easy to use, albeit a bit messy...and eases my concerns with using the machine...

The refillable K-Cup does exactly what it promises, but it is a little annoying to clean. There are 3 separate parts to wash and they all seem to get dirty after one use. It is a good alternative to buying the disposable K-Cups but if you drink coffee throughout the day it might get a little tedious after a while.

Will not make things easier for you, just cheaper. It is very easy to replace this k-cup filter and the original k-cup holder that originally came with your Keurig. They slide in and slide out. This can be messy when you rinse the screen filter of the remaining coffee grinds, which then have to be cleaned out of the sink. Not much of the wet grinds come out when you bang it in the trash can. When it comes down to it, it should probably be cheaper, but it works. I would not pay a penny over $20.00 for it. The first one lasted about 3 years. We just bought a new one.

Best additional add on ever! I love my coffee beans ground fresh at the pound price. I use this almost exclusively now and very often, maybe three cups per day for myself. I only buy K-cups very occasionally as I do not need them with this filter. I do not need to mess up a coffee pot, just the cup I am using! what a great idea.
