If you, a friend, or a loved one is a fan of the television phenomenon known as My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic and you have not seen the Equestria Girls movie yet in theaters or on cable (The HUB Network for me), consider purchasing this film. Although it isn't the Blu-Ray edition, it's crystal clear on any HD TV. The cast features human versions of all of your favorite ponies and the plot centers around Twilight Sparkle and her friends. The story is not too fast paced for younger children, but also not slow enough to bore teens and adults so it's fun for everyone. If you've never seen the television series, this will not be a good jumping-in point as the characters are pre-established and not thoroughly reexplained. Chronologically, this movie fits in-between the end of season 3 and the beginning of season 4.

My 3 year old daughter loved watching youtube clips of some of the songs from this movie and when I saw it really cheap decided to see weather she would like the full movie. She LOVED it and stayed glued to it during the full movie (sitting half of the time and dancing to the songs the other half of the time). Basically even watching it once buying this was cheaper than paying for babysitting for that time.

My Daughter, who's four, loves My Little Pony, so, one day we are shopping at Bestbuy and she suddenly gets excited and picks up this DVD and reads it out to me and asks me if she can get it. The price was absolutely reasonable and so, I did. A great animation film for little girls to also sing along too and a nice price at Bestbuy. Make your girls happy and get this movie for them.

Very entertaining movie. My daughter loved the movie and especially loved singing along with the songs the equestria girls sing throughout the movie. Did I mention my daughter danced throughout the movie as well? She loved it!

We got number 2 first and I thought maybe getting number 1 would be confusing for her, but nope she loves and sings the songs just as much. I do recommend this one first however as the story somewhat continues.

great movie for the little girls at home. Good moral lessons thru out the movie. Plot was good and ponies were always funny. Great movie if you have little girls that already enjoy my little pony the series.

Bought this movie for my 3 yr old daughter who is into my little pony right now, she loves it! She loves talking along and singing, great for long car rides

I have enjoyed this movie over and over. With it's colorful animation to it's neat story line. I would recommend to every little girl who likes my little pony.

We bought this DVD on sale. My daughter loves this DVD so much. We now keep it in our car so she can watch it every time we go anywhere.

I haven't seen this movie but I've heard it over and over again as I have this movie in our SUV. My kids enjoy it and it has a good message.

I haven't personally seen the movie, but my girls have seen the movie a handful of times so it must be pretty entertaining.

My girls live My Little Pony, and seeing the ponies as girls was really funny to them. Overall, great movie.
