I've played this game for a while now and it has so much potential. The developers try and cultivate a community feeling but it's all kind of a farce imo. Since the latest update/patch the sun and moon don't move in the sky like they used to-they only move once every few hours and when they do it's very fast no matter the speed of the game. There are no more sunrises, moon rises, or sunsets- no more beautiful colors just light to dark in matter of seconds. The sunsets were my favorite part of the game and now I am at a loss about what I consider a fatal change; taking away established aesthetics of the game. When I emailed Pathea, I was told that continuous sun movements would burden the switch by taking up a lot of resources-- and I get that the switch is severely limited-- but the sun and moon USED to move? What happened? When inquired about fixing it back the response was: "Sorry builder, devs say there are currently no plans to change this in Sandrock. But they will take it into consideration in the next series." Next series? What? So basically: we don't care. Final thought is this: taking away one of the most beautiful parts of the game for switch players feels so unfair and for those reasons I cannot recommend the Switch version of this game, it feels like it's a afterthought.

This game isn't bad, not as good as Portia, but if you want it don't buy it for the switch. Content updates and patches have been going out only for PC, Xbox, and PlayStation. The Switch version has only received a day one patch and has missed out on every other update, including patches to allow the paid dlc to function correctly.
