Gotta have your phone on it for a couple hours to fully charge. Beyond that it also seems like the “9000” mAh is pretty generous, I get 2 charges on my phone if I’m lucky and it’s got a 2800 mAh battery.

However 9000mah comes out to much less due to the nature if wireless charging. Probably will become more useful with time as it supports charging directly from the usb-c.
