I recently had a kid, so this product came along at a great time. We were using a wall mounted one before that we had some gripes with, so I was excited to try out the Nanit Plus with floor stand. Unboxing: The product is neatly packed in the box. Each piece of the actual stand and cable routing is neatly segmented, and the cable routing tubes can be discarded if not needed. My electrical plus was relatively close to the camera location, so I skipped that tubing. The rest of it snaps together well with the floor stand having an option to use three legs or two legs. I opted for two legs since I mostly plan to keep the camera in one place behind the crib. If you plan on moving the camera to other locations in the house, opt for the three-leg setup so you can just unplug it and relocate it easily. It is nice to have both options. For safety, I attached it to the wall with the included adhesive / screw mounted wall mount to affix it to the wall. Setup: After putting it together, I downloaded the app and went through the setup. Make sure you click on the correction version, there is a Nanit and Nanit plus option. I accidentally clicked Nanit a few times and it wouldn’t set up, I then realized I was hitting the wrong one and it gave me no issues after that. It will connect via Bluetooth and then let you set up wi-fi followed by any updates required. You will set up an account and have the option to invite family and caregivers to access the camera. Use: I am used to baby monitors, so I was excited to see what this brings to the table. Aside from its not-obtrusive mounting on the wall, it is a high-quality looking product with a high-quality app. First and foremost, there is very little lag from the actual sounds and video to what you see on your screen, this is huge since many competitors have lag. When you open the app, the video displays very quickly. The display shows temperature and humidity at the top with your options on the bottom. Zooming in the video is a little choppy but no real issues there. The activity tab will show you each time there is an important name, baby is taken out of bed, put to bed, falls asleep, etc. You get a few days of video out of the box (more on that later). The dashboard tab will show you a summary of your baby’s sleep and quality of sleep. It mainly measures this through movement detection within the crib. I have no way of knowing how accurate it is but it is pretty cool. There is also an inbox with tips that come in to improve your child’s sleep as more data is gathered. The product comes with one year of “Nanit Insights” which is normally $50 a year or $5 a month. It comes with 7 days of sleep tracking, night time-lapse (fun to watch the next day), activity feeds and video history. I never saw any prompts to upgrade during setup which is nice so it doesn’t seem to bug you too much. There is a $100 a year tier and more if you want to add more history to your tracking. Extras: There is a nice white light on the top you can turn on, you can send sound, take pictures and play some static noises. No music included on this one so far as I can tell. Your options are birds, waves, white noise and wind. I would have liked to have seen some music included or ability to stream music to the device. Overall: I am very impressed with how well this app and camera work together. It seems the company has got it right and it feels like a decent substitute for a traditional dedicated baby monitor. It has all you most likely will want and provides great insights to your baby’s sleep patterns. It is a great looking device and can be used in multiple settings. There is also a wall mounted version that is a little cheaper, but I prefer the floor stand model for stability and the ability to relocate it if needed.

The Nanit Plus Smart Baby Monitor has great resolution and the live feed is pretty responsive with little lag. Setting up the stand is pretty straight forward when you follow the instructions in the app. If you pull everything out of their snug packaging you may be a bit confused on how to put it all together. The USB cable is protected by the posts and you will have some left over to plug into the power outlet. A strap is included in the packaging to secure the stand to the wall with either adhesive or screws. I used the adhesive mount and the side of the crib helps to hold it in place. On the opposite side of the poles are a couple of rubber pads that sit against the wall to protect it. I did have an issue with connecting the camera to its mount. I had to bend the USB Type-C connector a little bit by wedging a flathead screwdriver between it and the two metal posts below it, it was slightly bent and the camera would not slide in easy. After I bent it back, it connected fine and I have had no further issues. Setting up the camera with the app was a breeze and it walks you through everything. I was disappointed that the monitoring feature does cost an additional amount with this, for the price you should be given at least a year of free service. They do offer a 30-day trial, but you have to have your credit card info ready so when the 30 days are up they can auto charge you. I opted not to do that so I can’t write about the monitoring features. I was just using this as a standard baby monitor with push notifications. You can set up the sensitivity of the sound and motion, but I really didn’t notice much of a difference and I have received a lot of notifications. It is nice that it will alert you to sound, motion, temperature, and humidity and the latter two you can adjust those to your liking. The picture quality is great and you can save a quick photo and share it as well. The push to talk feature works well if you have great service, but that is to be expected. I do like the night light feature of the camera, the whole top portion provides a good amount of light and for us it was perfect. Overall if they were to include a year of service I would recommend this, but since the cost is pretty high for this I would have to say there are more reasonable options out there.

I cannot even begin to tell you how awesome the Nanit monitor is. Baby monitors are great, but in general you still you still have a certain level of appreciation and you want to go check on them constantly. Especially with a new born and more so with my wife battling postpartum issues. So we decided to give this thing a shot. We have had the old school monitors that only listen in on the baby and we have had those with cameras. All have the ability to fail on you and they increase that fear factor you don’t need. This thing is amazing. It tells you everything that is going on in the room. It tells you the temperature and humidity. Both are important when your baby is sick. It will also monitor the baby’s sleep and tell you how they are sleeping as well as how many times they slept that day. When you set it up (which is easy), you can adjust the area of focus for the camera. Specifically, they are you want to monitor for the baby’s movement vice the parent “drop off zone.” It’s very very accurate and there is little to no lag in the response to you smart device when an event occurs. The best feature to me by far is the night vision. It’s just plain awesome! This was also a quite unexpected surprise. It can be pitch black in the room and you will see your little one as plain as day. You can zoom in and see if their eyes are open. Plus you can hear them breathing and snoring. I have it in a bird’s eye view centered over the top of the crib. It catches the entire crib and the area in front of it. I’ve taken some pictures and included them. The first one is the view of the crib through night vision. Very good overall shot of our set up. Then I included the box and it’s contents. It’s a great investment. One I’m glad we have. It’s piece of mind when you know you can’t be there watching you baby every second. I highly recommend it.

If you’re reading reviews on the Nanit Plus, then you already demand the best of the best and this baby camera will not disappoint. Pros: • High resolution with fantastic night mode • Can view the camera on your phone when you’re away and with multiple authorized users at the same time • Robust app with great analytics on your baby’s sleep • Camera stand so you don’t have to drill holes in your wall Cons: • There is a $5 monthly fee for the basic 7 day recording history • Push notifications doesn’t have immediate view-ability of the trigger • Not a true time lapse We are first time parents and loved the idea to visually see what the noises we hear meant. We started out with a basic audio monitor and those always left us scratching our heads if we needed to tend to the cry or fuss. We then got a video monitor that didn’t connect to the Internet but via radio waves. Works great but I often travel for work or if we have the sitters over for date night, I would like the ability to see my baby while we are out of the house. I was scared at first at the stories you hear about baby camera hackers but this is no regular IP camera as there is a 256 bit encryption keeping your camera safer than most. Setup was easy. I opted for the camera stand version so I can have a bird’s eye view of our crib without drilling holes in the wall. The cords run through the metal pipe stand so it’s a nice clean install. Setting up the app was a breeze and the app is very robust in the data it provides. The live stream to the app happens almost instantaneously (im sure this is all based on fast internet both at home and on your phone). The app runs in the background and will send push notifications to my phone if it detects sounds or movement. Which is great so I can open the app and view the live stream. The downside is that the action that triggered the alert isn’t available for a few minutes so you have no idea until the video is ready for you to view from their servers. My Ring Doorbell is faster in this aspect. The app does allow for multiple users so my wife can have her own app and login. We can even view the camera both at the same time on our phones. After each night, the app summarizes your baby’s sleep with a few metrics that’s available to see in a dashboard format. Amount of sleep, how many times your baby was visited, etc. It even shows you a heat map of how your baby sleeps through out the night. The time lapse is a nice idea but its not a true time lapse. It only does a time lapse if it detects major motion. So if you have a baby that rolls in their sleep but too slow for the Nanit to pickup, then the time lapse will appear very jumpy and incomplete. Original Nanit vs Nanit Plus differences are basically app driven capabilities. The Plus allows you to 2 way communicate, turn on the built in night light, play white noise through the camera speakers, etc that the original Nanit can’t do. My overall summary is that I highly recommend this Internet baby camera to parents looking for a baby camera that does more than just monitoring. I currently use the Nanit along with an Owlet to monitor her heart rate and oxygen levels. Nanit has announced recently that they will be launching a product (spring 2019) that could potentially replace my Owlet monitor. The “Breathing Wear” is a fabric that your baby is either swaddled in or wear around their chest that the camera can pickup the smallest breathing motions. The app will in theory be able to tell you if your baby has stopped breathing. Which is the biggest reason why we have the Owlet. We are excited for this new feature!

I have thoroughly enjoyed this item so far. Upon opening it i was at first a little skeptical as i assumed the camera would cause the stand to become top heavy and tip into my son's crib. I was wrong, way wrong. There are 3 supporting reasons why i like this camera, the stand design, the app, and the picture quality. The camera stand is exactly what it needs to be, its made of a soft exterior shell which is light weight and easy to assemble. Its threaded and was a breeze to set up. The stand is sturdy enough to support the camera with ease, there was also no wobbling happening. It hovers over my son and give me a picture perfect point of view. Secondly, the view. If you have any other baby monitor experience, this will erase your thoughts. The picture is crisp, my son fills up the entire screen, and the picture is not grainy as the camera is so close. It gives me peace of mind that he is sleep or awake, and there is data to prove it. This leads me to the app, it ready the baby like a book. Give me schematics and sleep data, all while telling me (via his data) if he will be sleepy during the day or not, based on his previous night, history etc. All in all, we've worried about the safety of our son sleeping during the night, but not since we've opened this box. The design, camera angle, and app data assures us that our little guy is doing just fine. Highly recommend.

The Nanit is exactly why I choose to come to Best Buy! I know there are cameras for rooms out there and sleep monitors but nothing like this! It is minimal and not fussy but still seeks to accomplish all that a baby mobile would. It plays nature sounds (white noise is my favorite), has a night vision camera pointing in to the crib, a night light and more. The app is super intuitive and it senses the perimeter of the crib so it can detect the baby’s motion. The downfall is there are other features you can unlock through a subscription of the app which is a bummer because it is so neat. As new parents unlocking the many features feels like a tease which wasn’t fun. Overall can’t wait to see the baby in action. It’s so nice to have something discrete that compliments the room! Must have for new parents!

Finally a great baby cam. I like how it sits right over the bed. Captures the perfect angle. It shows when the baby goes to bed when it falls asleep and when it wakes up. And finally a monitor that can play sound I. The background even when the screen is off so we can hear the sounds from the crib. This is awesome. I have 6 kids and I wish this was around for my first one.

    Best baby monitor out there

We did a lot of research on baby monitors before purchasing the Nanit, and it exceeded all of our expectations. It was by far the camera / baby monitor with the most features. We love that all the sleep tracking is automatic! It's amazing how far technology has come. The Nanit is able to detect when you put your baby down, how long it takes for them to fall asleep, how long they slept for, when a caretaker helps the baby out, and more... All the statistics, details, and insights are extremely helpful in helping us decide if we need to make adjustments to how we put our baby down to sleep. In addition to that, with the swaddle/sleeping bag/band, the Nanit can detect the baby's breathing. This gives us peace of mind when we aren't actively watching the baby on a camera or in person. It will detect how many breaths per minute and also alert you if the baby stops breathing. Luckily the few alerts we had were false alerts, but we'd much rather getting false alerts than not being alerted at all. After using the Nanit for over a month now, we are extremely satisfied with our purchase. It was very easy to set up (both the hardware and software/app) and we were able to use it right away. The app was very intuitive and both my partner and I have it installed and set up to monitor our baby. There are so many bonus features that we love as well. I've also used the nightlight multiple times too. We have a Hatch nightlight in the nursery as well, but it's just so easy in the Nanit app to turn the light on and off. When viewing the app we're also constantly looking at the temperature and humidity that the Nanit reports so that we can make adjustments to the room. One thing we'd suggest for Nanit is in the future, upgrading the Nanit floor stand such that the height can be adjusted. I believe the wall mount can change heights but the floor stand cannot. This is just a minor thing though.

Five Stars For The Monitor But Not The Floor Stand

The Nanit Plus is an amazing audio and video monitor that is loaded with features. Run by a feature-rich and intuitive app, you have a bird's-eye view from nearly 6 feet up with HD video, 130° field of view, remote viewing, two-way audio, temperature and humidity monitoring, sound and motion notification, nightlight, and superb night vision. Nanit also offers a paid service with advanced features like sleep tracking, cloud storage, and video sleep summaries. As nice as all the features are here, the main selling point has got to be the video which is bright and clear with some of the best night vision capture I have ever seen on any video device. Even though low light conditions are transmitted in black-and-white, I found that a dimly lit room at nighttime looked bright as midday. But the design of the floor stand is ridiculous. The monitor is a separate unit but only works when plugged into the stand. The stand has a tripod base and some wonky "cord management" tubes to surround the power cable (it is powered by an included 5VDC USB power supply) - alternately the stand can be mounted against a wall overlooking your crib (with included mounting hardware). But without mounting it to a wall, you have to use an oddly weighted third leg of a tripod to make sure the unit doesn't tip over. Surely the design had to consider how to package a nearly six foot stand but I have seen tons of floor lamps with way smarter assembly than this mess. With all the intelligence built into the monitor, it seems inconceivable that they went to market with such a frustratingly stupid design for a stand. And I'm still on the fence about the business practice of withholding advanced features for a paid subscription service on their app (cloud storage aside). They really advertise the sleep tracking and analysis features ("scientifically-backed sleep guidance") but those are not included with the free app (though the paid service has a free trial period). Even without the paid service, though, this monitor is immediately impressive and has a ton of features that separate it from lesser baby monitors on the market.

    Best Smart Device for Babies

    |
    Tech Insider Network Member
    Posted .
This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.

I'm a tech geek, and I've invested into a lot of smart devices for traditionally non-smart tasks. That includes smart devices for babies. Some, like the "smart scale" are a little more gimmicky than useful and while it works just fine, it loses its usefulness after a few uses (it requires a lot of input in the app). The best smart devices are ones that are truly automated, meaning you do your thing, and it helps out and assists you. If you have a young baby, you are either in the camp of little to no sleep, or maybe you got lucky and your kid sleeps through the night no problem. I was the former. My baby just wouldn't sleep through the night. I've read books on how to deal with it and how you should create routines, but nothing seemed to work. That's where this Nanit camera comes in. Let me first say, no, this camera is not going to somehow put your baby to sleep through the night. But, where it excels in its usefulness is how it tracks your baby's sleep patterns and gives you tips on how to improve it. Yes, it can be used as a traditional monitor, notifying you when your baby makes a noise and allows you to watch on video if your little one is truly asleep. But where this Nanit shines above the rest is in its ability to provides useful information like when your baby falls asleep, when he/she wakes up, and offering tips on how to improve your baby's sleep (and thus, the parents'). SETUP Pretty easy. At first I was confused when I pulled it out of the box and there's many "tubes" that you have to screw together. But when you start with the curved one (where the camera attaches) it's pretty self-explanatory. The power cable is already run through the tubes so it's pretty easy to set up. You screw the rubes together and run the tubes along the wall close to your outlet. I didn't have any issues reaching a nearby outlet. In terms of connecting to your phone, easy as pie. You download the app, you hit the only button on the camera itself, and the app walks you through the process. Once the camera is connected, you can put in your info (whether mother or father) name of your little one, and they're date of birth. COST OF SLEEP TRACKING I have to mention upfront that sleep tracking is a monthly subscription. 10 bucks (or more if you want to store longer periods of sleep data in the cloud, for me, 30 days at a time is just fine). The first 30 days are free, which is nice. If you are NOT going to use the sleep tracking, I would look for a different camera, this performs admirably as a normal monitor (with night light, music, camera/audio notifications) but it's real value is in the sleep tracking which costs extra. But the way I look at it, I'll only need sleep tracking for a set amount of time, but still, it's additional. So I might pay for one years worth of sleep tracking, but that adds $100 bucks to the initial purchase price. NANIT AS A BABY MONITOR As I said before, the Nanit comes up with features similar to other baby smart cameras, such as the Arlo Baby. It can make music, recognize temperature and humidity in the room, send notifications upon sound/movement, live view, etc. What I like about it, is it solves the problem of camera placement. My Arlo Baby was on the wall, and while it has a wide angle of view, I much prefer the overhead view which Nanit provides. It looks straight down. And it's still wide enough to capture any caregiver who comes to the edge of the crib to attend to the little one. The camera quality is great. To me, it's no better, no worse, than others including the Arlo Baby (which I mention a lot because I also own it). And it has great night vision. So while the video quality is great, it doesn't distinguish itself among the crowd so I don't think it's really worth harping on. Just know it's great image quality. WHAT SLEEP TRACKING DOES AND WHAT IT PROVIDES YOU This is the meat and potatoes of the Nanit. I am not here to describe with specificity how the device tracks sleep. I assume, and can only guess, that it's based on movement. Which if you think about it, makes sense. Little ones rarely stop moving, except when they're asleep. So how a typical night for me goes, I put the little one in the bed, I get a notification because there's movement, the app describes it as caregiver helping the child. My baby moves for a little bit, gets comfortable and falls asleep. On a bad night, either me or my wife gets up and gets him out of the crib or rubs his back. The app sends me a notification (which I mute at night because I can hear him from our bedroom) which I mention because it tracks it in the app. Then we put him back in bed, he moves around, gets comfortable and then falls back asleep. In the morning I get him out of bed. At the end of the night cycle (which is a two hour window that you set up on your phone, mine is 6:30-8:30 am.) which is the usual time you get your baby up (or better said, he gets up), you can then go into the app and look at a night summary. It provides you with the time your baby fell asleep, how long he or she took to fall asleep, how many visits in the middle of the night and a sleep efficiency percentage (total time in bed divided by time asleep). You can then watch an abbreviated video that (is sped up) and goes to each event (so it starts with the time your child fell asleep, shows you visiting your child, and when he or she gets up). The tracking works the same during the day time for naps. After a week or so, after the app collects enough sleep data, it offers tailored (but still sort of generic, duh, tips) on how to improve your baby's sleep. Some tips are standard, like make sure your baby eats enough in the day, let him cry for 2-5 minutes before you get him, etc. I appreciate these tips, and they do offer them in the context of baselines. Like at 13 months, a typical baby sleeps for X long. While every baby is different, no doubt, when it comes to sleep I think we can all agree the goals is to sleep through the night. So bottom line, the sleep tracking isn't going to magically make your kid go to sleep, but it does provide data points that allows you as the parent to adjust your routine or recognize things you shouldn't do (like not letting your child try to soothe him or herself back to sleep). You also get accurate times that they're asleep. I for one, am drowsy in the middle of the night and the last thing on my mind is trying to remember what time my kid got up, how often, and how long he was awake. This is where the smart part really helps us as parents and you don't have to enter it in the app, or write it down, it tracks it automatically. MY EXPERIENCE I can say with certainty that the Nanit has helped me and my wife. The information the app provides has helped us to adjust our parenting habits and keep track of my baby's sleep. We no longer check the data each and every morning (because our son had a good night) but if he has a bad night, we can go back and figure out what we did the previous day that maybe through him off. CONCLUSION Is the Nanit necessary or essential? No, obviously parents have gotten along without since the dawn of time. And while I'm prone to invest in tech because I love it, this is one device that I can say for certain has benefited me and my family. If you were to just invest in one smart device for a young baby, this would be it. While it's not cheap and the subscription fee does sting after the initial purchase price, you only need it for a certain amount of time and you cannot underestimate the value of sleep. Maybe it's psychological, but my wife and I have been sleeping better and our son has as well, ever since we started using the Nanit. If you are a parent struggling with a baby that doesn't sleep through the night (or day) I believe that the Nanit can help you achieve the goal of a full night's rest by giving you useful information (with no input by the user) that allows you to adjust and figure out what works best.

Our baby is 3 months old and tonight was the 4th time we’ve just luckily woken up to hearing him cry across the house with Nanit not working. No telling how long that had been going on. Nanit says cannot connect to internet but is the only thing in the house not working. Internet is fine, and we have 100mbps internet. There is no alert or alarm that it has stopped working or lost connection. It is great when it works but completely undependable.

Ive used this for about a week now and Im mostly impressed with it. The camera is much better than i thought it would be and the app is about the best I've used for a camera and I have plenty of them. The app can be customized in many ways including alerts (audio, visual, temperature and humidity), you can adjust the camera viewing angle as well as speak. The camera projects a very clear imagine which was much better than i thought it would be. At night, the quality isnt as good as other brands, but the intuitiveness of the app makes it worthwhile though. I did experience some infrequent connection issues with the app. Im not sure if its my internet connection at home or issues with the app. I do have alot of devices connected to my network so it could be that. I was pleased to find that 1 year of Nanit Insights is included with this model, but costs $5 - $30/month for thereafter. You have the option of $5/mth for 7 days of history, $10 for 30 days and $30 for unlimited. Other than the intermittent internet connection problems, my only other minor complaint is the footprint of this thing. It's huge. It's designed to fit underneath your baby's crib and it has an adjustable camera head, but it does seem to be unnecessarily large. Others may not find this a big deal however. I would definitely recommend this. If i had this when my first child was born, it would have saved me those unnecessary trips to the baby's room to see what was going on when all she did was move. First time parents will definitely appreciate this.

Best Baby Monitor Ever Designed? I think so!

Don’t hesitate, if these are in stock at your favorite retailer - buy one! There are tons of baby monitors on the market, a person could spend a month trying to figure out which one to buy. New parents don’t have time to be doing that, they barely have enough time for themselves. Any free time they have should be spent relaxing and catching up with each other, rather than reading product reviews for baby monitors. So let me help… If you can afford the Nanit Plus, don’t hesitate - buy it. There simply isn’t a better conceived, better designed product like it on the market. It is hands-down the best baby monitor I’ve ever used. When you consider the quality and engineering that went into developing this product, it’s actually a bargain. Maybe you’re a new parent, or a new grandparent. Yes, you can buy a monitor that is much cheaper. But why would you? Of all the things to save a few dollars on, don’t skimp on an opportunity to watch over your child. If you still aren’t convinced, stick around I’ll tell you why this is the best by diving into a few of the details. I tried to save you time by summarizing right away that you should just buy this and start using it. But if you want to hear more I have no problem going into the minutiae. This is not just a remote camera set up in the nursery… It’s a whole new way of watching over your baby, and also getting information delivered to you about how your baby is sleeping. The primary reason for a baby monitor is to allow parents to check in on their baby without actually having to enter the nursery. The problem with many monitors is that the signal quality is spotty, and can cause static interference. But even if you get a strong signal far too many monitors have sub par cameras. The camera resolution on many are poor, leading to pixelation and blurriness. You can see your child, but no details. Usually this is because manufacturers will trade off resolution for nighttime viewing in a dark room. In order to have both resolution (picture quality), and the ability to capture video in low light only the best quality parts can be used. And they are expensive… The Nanit Plus delivered the highest quality video stream of any monitor I’ve ever tried, in daylight and in the dark It truly is capable of HD quality video. Very impressed! Next to video, audio is another feature that many cheaper quality monitors do poorly. Not so with Nanit Plus, the audio quality is crystal clear. Again, a sign that this was a fully designed and engineered monitoring system built for a specific purpose. Plus Nanit features two-way audio, meaning you can listen and speak to your child remotely. Whether in the next room, or miles from home. The security features engineered in remove any fear of someone hacking into your audio. So if your little cherub gets restless and begins to awaken, respond with a comforting song or whatever you want to lull you baby back to sleep. Many parents are weary of baby monitors because they heard stories of video and audio streams being hacked into. This is true, and does still present a problem for cheaper brands. Nothing is hacker-proof of course, but the Nanit unit has the latest in security technology to dissuade the most ardent hacker in cyberspace. Featuring 256 bit data encryption, and the system doesn’t use IP addresses like most monitors. It uses a proprietary transport protocol that pushes the video stream directly to your devices. This all adds up to the most secure and safe monitoring system I’ve ever used. A unique and oh so cool feature about this product is the sleep cycle monitoring feature, that monitors how your baby sleeps, looking for patterns in movement, and even temperature. The system is designed to learn these traits over time, so when something changes it alerts you. It’s amazing! Babies fall asleep in much the same way every night, the Nanit software learns your baby's characteristics and saves that information. If the pattern in sleeping changes you get notified. It’s like having Mary Poppins watching over your baby and then having her text you when your baby stirs. Incredible! You can act quickly and learn whether your baby is sleeping well each night. Priceless! There’s so much to admire about the Nanit Plus, there are many more features designed into this product that I could write for another hour about it. But better yet, buy one and you’ll see why I’m so impressed with it. I appreciate and admire products that are well thought out and engineered. Little things matter a lot, thoughtful things like mounting the camera over the crib rather than off to the side providing a much better view. A night light that dims slowly to ‘Off’, and points up to the ceiling rather than down at the baby. A WiFi signal shield that blocks electromagnetic signals from beaming down to your child. What a great thing to think up and design into the product! That is top class engineering and thoughtfulness from the manufacturer. So impressed by this product am I that I think I’ll send the manufacturer my resume. Any engineer would love to be behind the creation of such a well-designed device. Any company that goes the extra mile like this for new parents and for the safety and heath of babies gets an A+ from me.
