Nice visuals in this documentary, but the story was not strong. 3D is great and the main reason for the purchase. 3D is dead in America so get it while you can.

Many beautiful air shots. I was a little disappointed in the 3D shots; a minority of the scenes translated well in 3D. Also, would have like more on the National Parks themselves, rather than having much of the focus focus on the three travelers. Having said that, I did enjoy their adventures, the scenery was of course beautiful, and it was a pleasant addition to my IMAX library.

This was on sale so the price was right. Nice trip to our National Parks. Was shorter than expected and quality also less than expected.

Some great video, surrounded by thin narration

I admire an attempt to highlight some national parks via stunning 4K video - albeit way too briefly for the price. But the product placement (Subaru), stilted copy for Redford to read, and a jumbled and at times awkward attempt at stitching together a narrative in following a group of excited and buff outdoorsy men and woman left me wanting both less of that backstory, and more of the awesome back country landscape.

The movie wasn't bad but it was a quite short and the 3D on this one had a few strange effects to them that looked awkward.

This is a great video to showcase your 4K system. The high end cameras they use and videography are superb. The video is shot in several national parks showcasing the best scenery and color in all of them. I particularly enjoyed the chapter with the bears catching salmon on a waterfall. I liked this so much I bought another as a gift for a friend.

as is the case for these imax films, they are designed for a middle-school audience and average about 50 minutes. robt. redford is a sub-par announcer (flat affect) the important thing is you know it's him. the photogs and the producers are the best in the biz, so it's as glorious a picture as can be... just overly simplistic and contrived

An incredible looking 4k blu ray. Absolutely astounding to look at. I got lost in a trance a couple of times just following the fly by's over the landscapes. It is something. This 4k blu ray is also very informative. It provides a very an engrossing narrative to the history of all the national parks in the United States. I was impressed.

This is a great DVD for those avid National Park fans in your life. While we've been to some of the parks shown in the DVD there are many we have yet to visit and this DVD certainly whetted our appetite. Beautiful footage and well-done!
