Found this yesterday in my local Best Buy store and decided to get it to try 4K. It has a 4K disk and a regular Blu-Ray. The latter has both the 2D and 3D versions on it. While I can't comment on the 4K yet (my drive on my PC doesn't support the new Blu-ray Ultra format), I did try it on our 50" LCD 3D TV. Worked wonderfully. I am always concerned that 3D content may be artificial - especially if it was filmed before 3D became available ;-) But this was filmed more recently and after watching it, I feel many of the scenes were filmed with a true 3D camera. Some are so well done that they really do make you feel like you are there in the middle of the stream/etc. A few others seemed like they may be somewhat synthetic, but that didn't hurt my enjoyment of the film. Redford is excellent at narrating, the scenes and adventure story are engaging, and the music is very well done. I would definitely recommend this - especially for the price. Nice to see 3D and 4K disk sets getting more affordable !
I would recommend this to a friend

National Parks "Misadventure"

I recently purchased a Samsung UN65NU8500 4K Curved UHD Smart TV and Sony 4K UHD UBPX800 Blu-ray Player, to upgrade from my previous blu-ray player, to take full advantage of my 4K TV. So far, I have purchased three UHD 4K blu-ray discs.
The "National Parks 'Misadventure'" was one of them.
I wish that I could give this disc 0 Stars, because as a "UHD 4K disc," it is totally worthless.
The images from this "4K" disc, when not unnecessarily focusing on a mythical family's vacation, presents extremely "soft" views of US national parks that were certainly not filmed in 4K.
It looks as though you are viewing an up-converted 420p video, and not even 1080p video.
The quality of this "UHD 4K disc" is horrible. DO NOT BUY.
After watching approximately 1/2 of this video, the disc was deposited in my trash can.
I did not return it to Best Buy, because it is not Best Buy's fault that this video is falsify advertised as a "UHD 4K disc," which at best, constitutes an unsuccessful up-converted video.
