This product is actually kind of perfect. It has a really heavy ball that can be slid up and down the length of the wire to weight the wire as needed. I like to use it to keep the wire on my bed and not dragging down to the floor which always ends up ruining my wires because of the constant tension at the input. It is also nice to adjust the ball to a little longer than floor length when setting it onto a nightstand or table because it steadies the cable and gives it a little less room to pull itself off the night stand. I will give one con, i have already destroyed the prongs (as i tend to do with every cable) to where the cable will not stay in my phone but i think this is more due more to the fact that I am rough on my cables and due less to the quality of the chord. However, if you are looking for a super durable chord, this wont stand out among others.

I bought this thinking that it would solve all of my problems and for the first week it did. My bed is just a little too far away from an outlet and this allowed me to comfortably use and charge my phone even while sitting on the far side of my bed. The cable is braided and very nice and the weight ball has some heft to it. The main problem is that the micro-usb plug is very week and broke within the second week of use. The added weight from the ball adds quite a bit of stress onto the connection if anything at all goes wrong. All in all this product is ok if you never use your phone while it is charging and if you are very gentle and only use the product as pictured. Buy a nice power hub and mount it discretely next to your bed and get a nice 4 foot cable with extra sturdy connections

This works just as described. Long enough reach you can have it plugged in and not be against the wall. Good durability too.
