An all-time anime classic from Japan's beloved veteran animator Hayao Miyazaki. Beautiful artwork and creative story-telling that captures and moves one's heart about everyday life's moments and struggles, and teaches us/ shows us about human frailties and how we find meaning through the "little blessings" we receive in this canvas called - "Life".

-First I'll just review the new packaging since this just a re-release. The booklet is quite small but nice little info in it but if u own the movie already don't bother picking this one nothing really new just the new slip. -Now for the movie itself go watch it yourself really with no spoilers it is a must watch for every age :)

This was the first Ghibli film I ever watched and it is timeless! Although the animation is clearly from the 80's, it still is a powerful film. Although kids can watch it, I only recommend this one for adults. It delivers moving messages about humans and the environment.

HUGE fan of Hayao Miyazaki and Studio Ghibli. This movie is beautiful, the story is beautiful during its time created. I would also recommand all the other animated films by Miyazaki and Studio Ghibli. They are all feel good heartwarming films for all ages. Glad to know that Best Buy carries these amazing japanese animated films.

One of our favorites from the acclaimed Japanese Anime director, Hiyao Miyazaki now on Blueray! And less than what we paid for DVD version! We have updated almost all the collection to BR now that the price is so good. Spirited Away is still the finest, and Howl's Moving Castle is another must have.

This is hands down my favorite Studio Ghibli movie (okay so technically it was before they were officially Studio Ghibli) - it stands apart from the rest as having more violence in it so be careful with sharing it with younger viewers.

What I love about early Miyazaki films is that they touch on a variety of topics that mirror the human condition. It will leave you with something to think about, to say the least. What a film!

While more impressive and more entertaining films have come out of Ghibli, Nausicaä is my favorite. The film doesn't cover the entire span of Miyazaki's epic manga, but it's still a wonderfully fun and inspired story which everyone can enjoy.

Every time I watch this film, I am dumbfounded at how many movies and video games have been influenced by the story, atmosphere, character design, and message (to name a few) over the past 30+ years. I'll never see the poison forest in SNK's Crystalis for the NES the same way again!

I love everything Miyazaki did and this was only his second movie, but he did something special here. He does a fantastic job of making you think about the real world and how terrible the human race can be to the Earth without really realizing it, in a stunning and fun way.

Bought this to have the Blu-Ray version of the movie. It's Ghibli from when they were establishing themselves as the quality anime studio in Japan. SteelBook packaging is nice & looks to be durable.

A cartoon by Disney of the Japan Anime series about the earth and the forest having living soul's which keep balance with the world. This story is about a princess "NAUSSICA" who tries to keep the forest world in balance with the human world. A great series for old and young alike

This is my new favorite anime style movie. Over Akira. How did I not know about this movie until now. Phantasy Star IV vibes.

I am a big fan of Studio Ghibli but for some reason I did not see this until about a year ago. Since then it has become my favorite. If you haven't seen it move it to the top of your list!

I'm not much into anime and have been watching a few movies. I picked up 3 and have enjoyed them so I think they are good for someone who isn't extremely into anime but would like to start watching some of the more prominent films and shows.

OK movie but still a good add to movie collection and steelbooks

I don’t know if they remastered it or no, but the graphics are excellent. The story is well written. Have been wanting to rewatch this movie for a long time and I was not disappointed.

This such a beautiful and empowering movie. It's timeless, it is a great movie for all ages and a good movie for all children. Love the director, I have all his movies.
