GKids did an amazing job with this one especially. The colors are a lot more natural compared to the previous release and the price point is just the icing on the cake.

Nausicaa is in my opinion a must see for ghibli film fans as it's pretty much their first film they created & it's still a great film after all these years. It's a little dark but not too dark & the soundtrack takes you back in time.

This is a classic from a long time ago. In 1984 this movie was introduced, I was in college in Tokyo. I was not an anime freak, but loved to watch this. 30 years later in USA, watching this in BD. It is still a good movie.

Studio Ghibli has definitely found the perfect equation to make great anime. If you are a fan of other Ghibli movies then it is a no brainer to watch this one. If a new fan is interested then there is only one thing to do.

This is the first film I watched from Studio Ghibli. To this day, very few films meet the creativity and originality of Nausicaa.

One of my favorite animated films. Very imaginative visually. Great characters voiced by a solid cast. There are some scenes that could be frightening to very young children, but older kids should be fine.

Three decades later and Hayao Miyazaki's masterpiece about environmental awareness and hope is just as relevant as it was the day it was released. The blu ray resolution only enhances the gorgeous hand drawn animation.

I love the G Kids releases of the Studio Ghibli movie. The packaging and designs are really pretty. And they look really nice next to each other on a shelf. Especially with the slipcovers.

This has always been my favorite anime movie. The themes of living in peace and caring for our environment while living in harmony with the other creatures of earth speaks very deeply to me.

If you love studio gibli movies then this is a must have for your collection. (I sound like a commercial but its true.) It's a beautifully animated movie with a heartfelt story line. A great family movie.

Miyazaki's first film under the Ghibli monicker. It feels like he started his career mid-sprint and never slowed down. Fans of his other films will find a lot to love in this inaugural adventure.

This movie is a personal favorite of mine. So being able to get it on blue-ray was a great purchase. This movie looks really good and I being it able to watch it again brought back a lot of memories.

Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind is considered to be teh first Studio Ghibli anime released. The animation is a bit crude but the storyline and pace is excellent. The music is great. I consider this to be one of the better Ghibli releases (only Spirited Away, Princess Mononoke, When Marnie was There, From Up on Poppy Hill and Porco Rosso are better).

One of the most compelling story lines of all Studio Ghibli movies. Music is wonderful. All voice castings for the language provided are perfect. Totally recommend this to all who are lovers of Studio Ghibli.

This film is one of the first anime films I discovered and watched as a child and it has been perfectly translated onto Blu-Ray. The visuals look just as great and exciting as they did when I was a kid and the story is still just as exciting and powerful. The price was also great! All in all an excellent addition to my Anime collection and a truly classic example of animation.

This is one of my favorite animated movies. The story, characters, and world are all exceptional. I also enjoyed the Japanese documentary, The Birth Story of Studio Ghibli, that is in the special features.

I finally was able to buy and own this again and it was definitely worth it for the price! It's one of Miyazaki's many masterpieces and I suggest that everyone who is a Ghibli fan or an aspiring artist, watch this.

I bought this for a friend who is a major Miyazaki fan, and it did not disappoint. These Blu-Ray/DVD combo packs are packed with extras and really essential purchases for any fan of anime.

I am purchasing these as they come out as my gf is collecting them all on steelbook. They have great sound and picture, and display great!

My daughter is a big fan of Miyazaki films and we own almost all of them. This is a story about a courageous girl living on a dystopian earth. The visuals are stunning and the story is engaging.
