There's no denying the graphics and gameplay are great in NBA 2K18. If you've played past versions you know what to expect. The biggest problem with NBA 2K is how the VC/paywall impacts the game progression so much that it can be frustrating to say the least. You might not have the patience to improve your career player with how the game is setup now. Never was a fan of the VC stuff.

This NBA 2K has the potential to be one of the best, if not the best 2K ever made. However, as my review sits Right Now; with the way the game is now; It's an okay game that is very frustrating (depending on which modes you play the most). IF 2K finally fixes their sliders, etc. and patches all or most of the things that are wrong with the game, then I will like the game better.

Very great basketball game, it look and feel so real. Story mode is amazing.

I wasn't sure how much better this game would be over last year's version, but was pleasantly surprised. A very good game with lots of different ways to play, graphics are top notch and presentation got even better with little things added like national anthem being sung before certain games.

Love me some sim basketball. 2k comes through again with some beautiful player models and great gameplay. Clearly on top of their game, but not afraid to take chances. Story mode could use some work on the script, but still the best way to get your basketball fix!

Ok. Let me start by saying the core of the game is always strong. That being the gameplay. But the one player my career story mode, which I play the most of all is very lacking this year. Terrible story, if you even want to call it that. There is barely any kind of plot. Oh and very offensive racist Asian character. Omg what were they thinking. You'll know what I'm talking about when you see it. They also took all purchasing menus (clothes, hair, gear, etc) out of the menus and put them in a open world format which I hate. Instead of opening a menu and buying you now have to run around a town and waste time getting to the barber shop instead of simply going into ur menu. I think they are starting to coast by on the games previous rep. If they don't make serious updates I will skip 2k19 for sure and maybe give NBA live another look.

Got this for my nephew and he just loves the game; too much. The graphics are great and the game is fun. Love the throwback teams/players. Get it, you won't regret it; except for time spent playing that you'll never get back.

I have been buying 2k games since 2009 and I was a little hesitant because 2k17 fell flat. I can say that this is the best playing 2k game ever! I play everyday! Smooth fluid gameplay and signature style really shines

It came on the day promised, wasn’t damaged nor opened, plus I received it early in the day which was a bonus. Overall for being one of the best franchises for NBA 2K, I will be buying my next 2K19 from Best Buy.

ameplay is smoother, graphics look awesome. Really like the additions to my career. Especially the neighborhood. Progression system is rewarding. If you like basketball and don't play 2k, you're missing out.

2K is the cream of the crop when it comes to sports games. Yet another solid year from 2K basketball. If you're on the fence about getting it, jump over that fence already, what are you waiting for?

The gameplay is amazing and is a massive step up from 2k17 but 2k brings the game down with too many microtransactions. It is virtually impossible to upgrade your player to have similar rating to the ones around you without spending actual money for VC

2k18 has the best nba gameplay to date. It's a shame that career mode has being ruined by microtransactions and honestly, myteam isn't fun with the new supermax mode, but if you want to just play a game or run a franchise, this is the game to get.

This is probably the best NBA 2K game. It still takes some time to master the individual moves but gameplay is unmatched. MyTeam and MyLeague features are more realistic than previous versions.

This 2k18 is by far the best one of the 2k series. The graphics are extraordinary and realistic. They have done a great job of being as realistic as possible. My son is addicted to the game!
