NBA 2k18 on the Nintendo Switch is amazing. Yeah it doesn’t run 1080p/60fps but it’s enjoyable to a point where I don’t mind it being 30fps. The only con I can think of is that when you put the Switch on “sleep” mode it instantly goes back to the main menu (if your playing MyCareer) and will ask to connect back online. The Legend Edition has some fun additional add on for mycareer/myplayer if your don’t really care for that the bare bones game is the way to go.

This latest installment in the NBA 2K series is just as great as all of the rest, and I'm very impressed that they were able to create such a great installment for the Switch! However, if you like to play the "MyCareer" mode, know that they have continued to make the game ever more reliant on microtransactions. In order to progress a significant amount, you will either have to shell out a lot of real money for "VC" or you will spend literally hours in the (virtual) gym grinding for experience.

NBA 2k micro point system is not good for gamers. I do like how this sports game play on the switch on the road.

I borough this game for my grandchild to play on Thanksgiving. He was so excited that he could not wait, and playing the game at this moment. He said its the best game ever!!!

Haven't bought a NBA 2k in 3 years. I thought I would pick it up for the switch so it was portable and play my daughter and our friends. I know there are controversies around the mycareer mode and micro transaction but I don't use that stuff. So from a casual perspective who just want play local multiplayer social, for $35, it was a good purchase.

Expected graphics to be much better. Not very user friendly; controls need getting used to. Worth the price tag? Spare the extra $ and get the normal edition

I bought the switch for my grandson. It was a gift he requested. It would be nice if some football games were available.

I brought this game for my son, he enjoy playing NBA 2K18 on the weekends or on his days off work..A great way to pass-time!!

The main appeal is the same for every Switch game. Now you are not limited to playing only on a small screen OR only plopped in front of your TV. That said, I was terrible at basketball in high school. Now I can play make believe basketball without breaking a sweat AND look awesome doing it. I do miss the NBA Jam days where the announcer would yell "HE'S ON FIRE."

Such a nice hand held game. Good graphics. Also the graphics when hooked up to the tv are very good.
