I bought two copies of the game for myself and for my brother, and both keys are invalid, they offer to buy the original game, and I bought it after all !!! Called Steam for some reason they do not want to talk about this topic!!! Please fix this bug!!!

Exactly the same problem, the key is not activated and writes that you first need to buy the original game, but what did I buy?????!!!!! (((((

The Code provided wont even let me redeem the game on steam vesides the fact it opened to steam. It says must activate original game first like what game im buying the game!!!!. And the customer service wont even help me because everytime they put me on hold they keep hanging up the phone.

Game is what you expect. Though they don't consider PC as next gen. The Product key was sent. It is a Steam activation key. The key worked fine for me.
