    2k is still the best sports simulation. It is, however still hampered by microtransactions that limit the single-player and online modes. I tend to stick to franchise mode, which does not use the in-game currency. In the end, I still recommend it because of the great detail to game play.

    Unfortunately I was sent a link for Xbox One when I bought Series X so ultimately it was half of a game. Not everything was accessible because of it. And it was a gift, so was frustrating and never got resolved.

    I should have waited until the game went on sale. The full experience of the game is unlocked by spending hundreds of hours or hundreds of dollars to up your character. Once you spend your VC, theres no undo to use it elsewhere. I grew bored after grinding the first couple days and havent played it since release.
