The side brush stopped working shortly after 1 year :( and I called the company but they wouldn't replace pass the warranty. I tried to buy new side brush but it still won't work :( Too expensive to break in only that soon!

Bought this vac in August of 2015. Had to send it in for a factory warranty replacement in April of 2016. The replacement has gone out now in November of 2016 and can not be replaced. Not a quality vacuum.

One week in and I am very pleased. 1 dog and 4 cats means daily cleaning. I have always owned roombas before but thought I'd try the neato due to its educated path selection. My last Roomba was a 530 and it worked fine but is inferior in fur pickup and time to cover a room to the botvac 80. The filter gets very dirty and I use a toothbrush to clean it out after each session. Roller brush does not get clogged up with pet fur like the 530 did. When cleaning a simple rectangular area without furniture it follows the around the edges and then back and forth pattern. When the room is irregular in shape with furniture, it appears to break the room up in pieces. When needing to return for a recharge it revisits the starting point of each piece. Works fine for every type of floor except very heavy shag carpet. I was amazed at how much stuff it picked up the first few runs. It is quieter than the Roomba 530. I will update this review if problems occur. Bought the 4 year maintenance plan just in case.

I've only had it for a few days, but so far it's working great. I had the original Neato which died recently, but this one seems improved. It is quieter and seems a bit more consistent in how it vacuums. I will update the review if things go bad, but I am very happy with how it works right now.

My first robotic vacuum, and I went for Neato because of its user-friendly features. It works wonderfully in my apartment, picks up good amount of dirt and hair. Only the corners do not get cleaned properly.

Don't buy a Neato. I did a lot of research before I bought a Neato. The first one I bought lasted about 2 years. The second one I bought lasted 3 months - and yes, they did replace it free of charge (but it's a huge pain - be sure and save ALL your packaging for when you have to return it to the company). But that one lasted 8 months - and no more warranty coverage. A $500 vacuum sure better last longer than these machines did. irobot here I come.

This vacum is great on pet hair. Does a wonderful job on hardwood and tile.

I have been looking for the perfect robot vac to clean my NYC apartment. This was the one. I was so excited to get it as it was the newest release from Neato. It worked amazingly for a week, but for some reason, I started getting an error message and the unit has pretty much become useless. I called the support line and they recommended I spray the laser eye with compressed air (there's another $10 wasted). I tried that and still nothing. Neato offered a replacement but I really don't want to roll the dice with a $500 unit and will just end up returning it to Best Buy as I'm an elite member.

This unit replaced the Signature XV that BB exchanged after a number of problems. This unit did a much better job of sucking up dirt but if you don't mind it chirping all night because its dust bin will not sit down on the sensor correctly and it constantly stops and needs it's path cleared it would be great. Returning it today for a refund and going back to my old Hoover. Take a look at the Amazon reviews, you will find many complaints about the issues I have mentioned above. I had a horrible customer service experience with Neato on the first unit so this one just gets returned to BB. They have great customer service in my Charlottesville BB store and never have a problem with a return or exchange.

I ended up returning this to the store within a day of trying it. It came with a broken part that wasn't replaceable and I couldn't get e new one to try instead. It was a real hassle. It would have been a fun toy if it worked well, too bad.
