Excellent robot vacuum. Cleans better than expected. I have a small house so it can clean the whole house and a single cycle without recharging. It’s nice to be able to start the vacuum through the app even when I’m not home or schedule it to clean while I am at work

I was looking into a vacuum to help me clean up the upstairs room of my house. I will first be upfront by saying I do not vacuum very often and so I was looking to find a robotic vacuum to help me clean up. I was amazed by the amount of dust and dirt that the Botvac picked up. I ran it 3 times in 3 days when I first bought the Botvac and each time it filled up the bin. A few times, the Botvac did get stuck when travelling between rooms. Also, make sure you keep track of the bristles especially if you are using it to clean carpets because the carpet fibers and hair will get caught in it.

We decided to get robot vaccum after being tired of cleaning the house every 3-4 days. We have a dog (Lab) and a cat who shed. We have hardwood floor and carpet areas and hair are very visible on hardwood. Pros: The set-up was relatively easy. App is good and easy to use. Scheduling is very convenient. We decided to go with Neato and not with Roomba 960 or 980 because of a year of research into it, and we cannot be more happy. Floors are CLEAN! It does the job very well. Even after I had vaccumed the floor, it managed to pick up. I did test it with spot cleaning, both on carpet and on wood floor. It did manage to pick up things without first spreading it around. Cons: Nothing really but I can nitpick. As of now, the boundary marker is not available on app. You have to use the magnetic tape if you want to exclude an area. But reading online, I did gather that Neato may offer it once they launch D7.

It's so much fun to watch, and also watch how it gets itself out of a hard spots by lifting its wheels and adjusting to where it's at, the dogs didn't like him at first but now are more or less friends:)it's is also amazing how it learns the room it's in and remembers, I love how easy it is to program it is,and best of all how powerful it is and how much it picks up, if there is more dirt it won't stop on that area until it's done, my wife and I love it and highly recommend it, with my sons medical issues the neato helps free up time for my wife to take care of our son, Thank you

This my second Neato. I wanted to upgrade to a connected type, using my Phone App. to run it manual, or auto. It does a great good cleaning, all the Apt, or just what I want to clean. I am disabled, so the only time I need to pick it up, is to dump the trash bin. I can drive it right to the trash can and clean it out, then dive it back to it base. I think that great, for me. It also shows a map of what it cleaned that time, and the time it clean, and the SQ Ft of what it cleaned. So I can see if something is in the way or not. Its a great help for me being disable. I do have to move my computer stand, and my diner tray, it does not like them. I can live with that. Thanks you Neato and Best Buy for having this fine little machine.

Bought this on sale as a Christmas gift. Great price and smooth order online and pickup at the store. This is a very cool vacuum. We charged it for about an hour or two and then connected it to our wi-fi with no problems. We have it set up to vacuum our master bedroom, and short hallway which has a short to medium pile carpet, as well as the master bath with vinyl tile, throw rugs, and a bathmat (no fringe on either). It found its way around and under some furniture and the bed. It seemed to be stuck a couple times, but moved back and forth and turned and got unstuck. It also recognized the boundary marker barrier strip we had set up in two locations. It had no problems transitioning to the bathroom and over the throw rugs and bathmat. It returned to the base on its own as it should. The bin had collected quite a bit of dirt, etc. Very impressed with our first venture into the robotic vacuum world.

this thing has been awesome! it will pick up about 90% of the mess on the floor, and very durable. it somehow sucked up 2 dryer sheets and kept going. app worth it. A little pain to set up in the beginning, but the troubleshooting guide online helped a lot.

My Neato Botvac Connected is a better vacuum than I expected. I was skeptical of robotic vacuums, but since I can no longer vacuum due to a back problem I had no choice other than to hire a maid. I choose the Neato rather than maid service. The shape of the vacuum allows it to get into spaces I wouldn't have thought were possible; it doesn't get stuck even when I think it might, it works its way out of it, and is on its way; and it finds its way back to its charger when finished.The Neato is very smart; it surveys each room before beginning and doesn't miss a spot; it is easily connected to my iPad through my wifi and programmed to run on a schedule and send messages when finished or is returning to its charger, or needs its dust bin emptied, etc. This is the best investment I have made this year! I definitely recommend The Neato Connected to anyone who needs 'someone' to vacuum or just wants more free time, and to spend less time doing housework.

Actually does a great job. A little frustrating because it gets stuck but i think it’s possible to “baby proof” the areas. Raising the couches slightly. It does an amazing job tracking where it’s been. Overall the cleaning is pretty darn good. First time under the beds have been done in a long time.

I was using a robot vacuum that didn't have the ability to map the room and would frequently get stuck going over or under things. When I bought this, I was concerned that I would have the same issue but I was quite wrong. The vacuum occasionally gets stuck, but I think it is more out of confusion than anything else. The last time it got stuck there was nothing in the way, but it was a narrow path. Just make sure that this has enough room and it will do great at cleaning your floors.

Chose this product based on Cnet reviews. The product runs quietly, was easy to set up, and does a spectacular job of cleaning our floors. We have an older home with smaller rooms and many obstacles and this little robot does a great job of getting every square inch of our hardwood floors clean. I highly recommend this product. We’ll buy another one for our first floor.

First one had to be returned due to bad software. There is a learning curve for Neato and the home owner. Gets stuck a lot but once home layout is learned and home owner removes obstacles it is well worth the money.

I love my Neato Botvac! It helps me to keep our floors clean with 3 kids and an indoor dog. It vacuums in a back and forth pattern that leaves straight lines on our carpet. It also sends me a map of the vacuumed areas of the house when it is done. I’ve owned a Roomba, but did not like the circular pattern it left on carpets and it always seemed “lost”.

Cleans well, but requires that you "robot proof" your areas so it doesn't get hung up on items like cables, under the bed, etc. We liked this so well we bought one for upstairs and one for downstairs. Doesn't always return to base, a minor annoyance. We also got a Roomba at the same time to compare. This beats the Roomba hands down. Roomba could only do one room reliably and instead of picking up dog hair it simply collected into clumps and redeposited the clumps on the carpet.

It really does pick up a lot of stuff and runs for a long time before charging. Very effective at finding its way around and getting in and out of tight spots. I had a hard time figuring out where to put the charging dock because I have decorative baseboard. Had to put it against a flat door. Now, I have no problem with it connecting and charging.

So I went into this purchase with having done a lot of research and having seen how well a Neato had cleaned my friends home. The Neato cleaned each room very thoroughly, to the point that it needed its tray to be cleaned out 3x on its first run through my house. It then provided me a very detailed map of where it had cleaned. The functionality with Amazon Alex was nice (not entirely necessary but nice). The first issue I had was that Neato could not find his base when it needed to return home, when I say it couldn't find it Neato was going to the opposite side of the house and just bumping into a corner. I read that I needed to give the dock more space and lone behold it worked well, Neato found it with ease. The major issue for me was that Neato has a dome on time (with a laser mapping unit if I'm not mistaken), the dome would get caught on things like the couch. Neato could force itself under the couch but could not get out once it had forced its way under. This was a major problem because I had planned to use it while I was not home, the unit does a great job cleaning but is significantly louder than my other vacuum and it made it necessary to be away from home for the 1.5 hours it took to clean a 1900sq ft house. I would just check the clearance of all your furniture to ensure it has about 1 inch clearance more than Neato s height. If it's too close I would wait on Neato.

I am absolutely in love with this little vacuum. Incredibly smart machine, cleans perfectly, sends cleaning map to my phone after each clean along with the time it took to do the job. It is my best friend and when I come home I go say "Thank you darling!". I am buying another one for the downstairs. Cost does not matter for the time it saves me.

Works great as long as there is at least 2 feet gap all around the charger. If not it acts cranky. Doesn't charge loses WiFi connection etc. It will great if Neato includes this a required instruction.

This vacuum is easy to set-up, operate and does and excellent job. I found that lifting chairs, plants and other items off the floor speeds the vacuuming time. You need to keep and eye on it when you first operate it. It got stuck under one on my love seats which was easily remedied. I intend to get another one for my place in Florida.

Device works great for pet hair and cleaning against walls and corners. Only issues have been it getting lost when returning to base or not getting onto the base fully to charge. This was solved by moving it to a much more open place so it can find the base all the time. It does however continue to climb the back of the base as it tries to charge. I think this is due ot the shoe molding on our wood floors as it pushes against it to back up.
