I have 5 cats and 2 large dogs, and that results in lots of fur that needs to be vacuumed regularly. I was sceptical about what a robotic vacuum could pick up and did lots of research before deciding that the larger collection bin on this model with double the run time was what I wanted. I bought it as a Deal of the Day, and quickly fell in love with the Neato Connected. Even on the standard cleaning mode (not turbo) it had no problem picking up all the fur and kitty litter and other debris dragged in by the dogs. Sometimes I had to empty the bin during cleanings, and found out it is mostly from my cats. Anyway, even though the unit is not inexpensive, it was so worth it to walk barefoot across nice clean floors every day that when it was available on the Deal of the Day again, I bought another unit for downstairs. For deep cleaning, you will still want to use a regular vacuum, but for everyday use, with wood or vinyl or tile flooring with area rugs (which it has had no problem transitioning over) it will make your life so much easier. Could you just vacuum yourself everyday? Yes. But it is like having a sprinkler system. You could drag a water hose around too, but isn't it so much easier if you don't have to?

Update on last year's model makes this the best vacuum robot and has shown it self more capable of handling large areas with good focus on detail cleaning.

Has great suction and does a great job mapping out its area. I added 3 rooms to the 2nd run and it found them and cleaned them like a pro.

I'm 54 years new and live in a one floor rambler that I love and wanted a "robovac" to keep the floors tight when im gone so I bought a samsung model and it was to clumsy and loud so I returned it and bought the neato Botvac Connected and it is such a great vaccum with its app and scheduling that my next one will also be a neato!

The Neato Vacuum does a decent job on carpet and a good job on solid surfaces. It also goes up transitions well. The issues are poor battery life and constantly getting stuck. It did the whole house just fine 5 times straight but since then has gotten stuck in a number of places the past 12 times it has ran. Battery only seems to last about an hour. The vacuum has a lot of wasted travel. It will do part of a room then go all the way to another room just to come back. Sometimes it will do this 3 or 4 times. Overall 3 stars. Haven't used other botvacs to compare it to.

Was purchased based on positive reviews. The vacuum is much quieter than a standard vacuum and seems to pick up in many places like under beds etc with no issues, it has found its docking station with no issues, hoping that it has good long term reliability. The app is also easy to use and the manual control feature is pretty neat!

I bought the Neato Bot Vacuum for my wife for her birthday. Our home already has a central vacuum which includes 2 Australian Sheppard's to help keep the central vacuum running. I notice she was using the central vacuum everyday of the week except Sundays. I did some research and found that the NEATO Bot Vac was rated highly. So I purchased the first one along with the 4 year warranty that Best Buy offers. We have since replaced the first Bot Vac. But the good news is ever since getting the NEATO my wife fires up the central vacuum only once a week. It is amazing how efficient the Bot Vac cleans the house (3300 sq ft). Our floors are all tile but we have Indian Rugs in the family room and living room and the bot vac has no issues adapting to the change from ceramic tile to the rugs. My wife is extremely please with the NEATO and a happy wife is a happy life!!!! Something on the drive mechanism is what failed on the first one but Best Buy stood behind their warranty and replaced it with a new one in three days. The first one lasted approximately 3 months. We will report back on whether this is seldom occurrence or a design issue with the NEATO. But I would encourage all husbands to go out and get one for their wives. It is hard working, easy to setup and well worth the price.

We don't really have to Samsung 9350, which had amazing suction but navigation and mapping were horrible. After 6 frustrating months I took it back. Six months later we purchased this unit. We are very happy with the mapping. I will say that the suction on the Samsung was better but this more than just the job. I would highly recommend it

I like it so far! I have only had it for one week and I’m still learning how to use it. But so far I’m very pleased. It seems to clean very well and does a pretty good job of navigating around our home. It does struggle with a couple of our carpets but they are rather thick. I think as we learn how to prepare for vacuuming, some of the getting stuck issues will take care of themselves. I got a great deal on this vacuum as it was on sale for $300 off. I believe it’s going to end up being a great investment!

I have only used Neato twice as I went out of town shortly after receiving the product. At first I was a little disappointed because the charging base did not work but customer service was great at identifying the problem and getting a new charging base to me quickly. Neato is currently learning the house outline so it seems a little awkward especially the first try. The second try was better. It is great for getting quite a bit of the debris from carpet and floor but the use of a more powerful vacuum cleaner will still be needed just not as often when using Neato on regular basis. Some sweeping near base boards was needed the two times I used Neato. So far I am very happy with my purchase.

Does an excellent job of cleaning and it moves quite fast.

Works great! Has great suction and the battery life is good. The only thing I would say is it gets stuck from time to time.

This vacuum is really impressive, does my entire house by passing any obstacles on a single charge plus it sends you a report! My older roomba that got stuck all the time and did not had sufficient charge to do the entire house. no need to install light houses or any other equipment. i Highly recommend this one!

Excellent product, exactly as advertised. Very easy to setup and use. It does a fabulous job on all types of floors. My wife loves the way it returns to charge on its own, and then continues the cleaning until finished. The wifi remote setup is a breeze but we have found it so easy we just set the schedule and let it do its job. Flawless!

Killer robot! My wife loves it! We have pets, so constantly vacuuming up pet hair was a real problem. Not any more!!

My days of pushing the vacuum are truly over. This is actually my second one. Loved the freedom the first one gave me, I bought this second one to be placed on the second floor. Using the app to set cleaning times is easy and I just set it to clean overnight. Gets the corners and cleans really well.

I have no idea how the other brands work, but this one does a good job so far...it does bounce of from things a lot even after it has mapped the house several times...

First of all - you will be surprised at how much this picks up. Second you will be surprised at how much dust and misc items it picks up when you schedule it to run every day or every other day. I never realized how much debris was laying around my house! I liked this vacuum so much I contemplated building a single story house just to use it in a whole home application. Now the caveats - it does get stuck in random places and if you leave anything out it will simply stop working and make this super annoying beeping sound until you fix it. Now, that's not bad but I am not getting out of bed to de-clogg the brush at 3 am!

We purchased this unit to replace a several year old Neato XV21. It is used on manual only, works fine without using the WiFi option. Had tried a competitor's brand, but it had a smaller dust bin and the brush guard and brush fell off after bumping into some computer cables. After several runs it memorized the house and the location of its charging station in our multi room and hallway house. Very happy with the increased turbo suction, picks up a great deal more dust and pet hair. The new style dust bin holds more and is easier to clean out. The filters do a better job and are easy to rinse off and dry for multiple uses. Good extended run time, it now cleans the same area in one run that the XV21 needed 1 1/2 runs to do. Will definitely buy another DC00 when our other XV21, used in a separate house area stops working.
