Smoke detector and carbon monoxide detector all in one. It speaks to you instead of that annoying beeping sound. Also a nice night light.

This is exactly as presented. It was quick to install and I had no issue. The talking part is a little funny, but I am sure in an emergency, I would be glad it wasn't a loud buzzer.

I love the fact that I can sleep with peace of mind knowing that my family is safe at night due to the fact that I work 24hr shifts as a Firefighter. It is a cheap investment for peace of mind and it lets me know it is working every time I walk by with a nice glow of a green status light ensuring its operational. I can also know if there is any problem at my house when I am away via the phone app. You can also link multiple detectors together throughout your house.

Added in conjunction with a Nest thermostat. Installation, integration, notifications are nice. Easy iphone app.

I bought one for each floor. They talk to each other and work with my nest thermostat. Definitely recommend

Very simple setup and installation. Linking multiple detectors was a breeze. The app works very well.

Easy to install and set up. Note - not compatible with hard wired systems, designed to be used solely with other Protects that connect to each other wirelessly. Nightlight is a great feature at the top of the stairs.

Hope I never have to find out how well it works but easy to install and looks impressive.

Works exactly as advertised. Very easy to setup especially if you already setup one before - because they talk to each other making the setup of the new one even easier and faster. Super fast live notifications via phone as "Alerts" happens. You can see and control them remotely too. With the additional Carbon Monoxide sensor, it gives you a sense of peace knowing your home and your family are safe.

Works great and Nest techs are helpful. No problems with installation and use.

I bought the plug-in model to replace an old model that came with my unit. The wiring harness needs to be checked before your install to make sure you have the proper plug for the kind of wiring you have. Most smoke alarm wiring connectors are similar but never install before you check that. The app install was seamless and found my Nest right away and ran tests successfully.

They say you need multiple Nest to get the full spectrum of the product. I have only one and I place it where a fire is most likely to happen...the kitchen. I burned some french toast leaving my house unattended for a moment in my yard. I had my phone on me at the time and the product alerted my mobile device.
