The most difficult system to set up and let them communicate with each other and they do not cover the area it claims to do Yes I have a large area and have 12 old system gen 1 in place and I had to delete the entire system and reconnect each one and took forever and some get kicked off the system every now and then Suggest buy them to cover a moral of 5000 sq feet area only but when it works it is great Too expensive also

This sytem is better leaps and bounds over my last nighthawk dual band router! I can see and test all points right from my phone app and the sq ft coverage is almost twice as much. Went this route to ensure our security cameras would have sufficient wifi coverage along with all the kids streamingbgames and movies. I am not disappointed. Would definitely buy again!

I really wanted to love this router and points bundle. The problems tends to be that there is no way to have certain devices connect only to the main router or one of the points. I have a spin bike in the basement along with a point there. At times, it will connect to the upstairs main router and my connection will go to weak. The only way I have found to have it reconnect to the basement point is to unplug the spin bike and hope it reconnects to the basement point. Very frustrating that this happens when there is literally a point just a few feet away. On a plus side, it has increased the range of wifi in certain areas of the house especially outside on the deck. Also if you have an apple device that you are using to set this up ( the app is required for set up), it is so difficult. We spent 2 hours and were about to give up when we called support. It took another hour before it was figured out that we had a certain setting on our phone turned off that was needed to connect the points. Very frustrating.

The mesh network gives a strong signal, and I would think a single story house in the 2500 sq ft range would do well with this pack. If you have an upstairs you may need to strategize or add another point. The one thing I’d critique is that the extensions lack the speed of the router, so even though you’ll have steady speeds on the outside, you’ll Be limited to about 100 mbps versus the much higher speeds possible at the router.

Was skeptical of the system at first. But the performance has proven worth the cost. No more dead zones, no dropped calls when switching between units, slightly more performance through dense walls. Overall a good buy. Who it is meant for is that person that wants to set it and forget it. 10 minute install, no hardcore routing options, no builtin VPN, no frills, just set your password, answer some questions, get online.

Works great.. no issues with coverage. Covers all floors, I have one in the living room and one upstairs. And for the bonus.. the access point is actually a google smart speaker... Me: "ok google, this is nice" Google Assistant: "Awww... we do our best" okay that's not a real conversation :-D

So simple to set up. I have a Nighthawk wireless router/modem combo and was able to connect the main Google mesh node to that (while having the other two on opposite sides of my house). I can connect to either the new WiFi access points or the Nighthawk with no issue from any devices or connections. My house no longer has wifi dead spots.

I bought this per recommendation from Tom's guide and I was not disappointed. I was a little skeptical because the routers are small and doesn't look powerful. But the range on this system is excellent and it was able to provide wifi in my master bathroom , which is at the far end of the house and no other router or wifi extender can reach. Very Impressed.

Amazing Mesh Network and super easy to install... all you have to do is get the Nest/Google Home app and download it and it will explain a step by step process for you to install and use your new Mesh Network. As stated in a previous review I wish they had a bigger pack then just the 2 or 3 but that was what was for sale during Cyber Monday...

Excellent, strong WiFi! I now have whole home cover and I’m loving it.

I had been looking for a whole home wifi with extenders. This google mesh is perfect. No need to set up extenders throughout the house. All devices automatically connect to either the 2.4 or 5 G signal. Using the app allows you to even customize it more with priority devices or parental controls.

I had issues with Netgear mesh specially because it was dropping wifi, app gets updated in between which cause issues to login, integration to parent controls were not straight forward etc., I shopped for other mesh network and finally ended up in Google. So far no wifi drops, app is simple and easy to manage. Google still have two app vs one, hope they merge it.

Bye bye dead spots. Super easy to set up. Note: 4,300 sq ft 3 level home needed one additional point.
