We recently replaced our ISP-supplied wireless network with the Google Nest Wifi AC2200 Mesh Router and Point to cover our house better as we prepared for at-home remote school. Prior to the installation, most of the rooms in the house struggled to keep up with the demands of video calls, despite ample upstream bandwidth. I replaced the network mid-day, and while one of the kids in a problematic area was on a live call. I added the Google Nest Router and Point as a new network while the ISP router continued serving wireless on the old SSID. I switched from one network to another on his Chromebook while he was on his Zoom call and saw a *massive* increase in the streaming quality instantly. He went from a practical slideshow to a crisp, clean video stream instantly.

We went from no internet in majority of our apartment with calls dropping while working from home, to being able to use lightening fast internet and no issues during calls/meetings. Very happy with this purchase!!

My experience with this mesh system has not been good. After installing the router, my signal and internet speed was excellent. Once I walked to the other end of our house the signal became worse and the speed was dramatically reduced, which is to be expected. However, once I walked back to the router, the signal and speed did not recover fully for quite a long time. The speed improved, but remained much, much slower. After waiting a long time next to the router, I've noticed that the signal and speed suddenly return to normal, but this long time lag should definitely not exist for such an expensive system. I don't have the point installed, so this is not causing any interference. Anyway, I worked with Google's technical support and after running a diagnostic they said that there was a problem with the router and I should exchange it for a new one. I did this, but the problem persists with the new one so I'm unfortunately going to return this system and get a different one. I've seen this issue posted on a bunch of forums now and it remains unresolved, so I don't think there is a short term fix until Google issues some type of update to fix the problem. I just don't really want to deal with the hassle at this point. I have a Google-based smart home and was looking forward to tying everything together with the Nest mesh, but unfortunately, this won't be the case.

Finally great WiFi on our second story. We were renting our old router from our isp and WiFi was always slow. Right away we felt the difference. So far everything is working smooth and fast and have no issues.

Needed to upgrade my home WiFi from ATT router and an extender across the house due to dead spots and working from home under current SIP orders. The new mesh system is a huge improvement. Much better service throughout the house.

If you're using a modem/router that your internet provider gave you, you need to buy this asap. The nest wifi plugs into the modem/router that your internet provider provides and we saw an increase of 5x the speed for our WiFi.

I was having lots of issues utilizing the standard modem/router combo that my service provider furnished. Purchased this and no issues at all and it has great range and doesn’t drop the connection. Highly recommend!

Nice product, easy to setup and install. I do wish these could connect via home wiring instead of only via wifi (like the Home plugs) as these are actually synced extenders (extending base signal).

The router was quick and easy to install. However the additional point was stuck in a loop in the menu for quite a while. After several attempts it started working. It has performed well since.

we had to upgrade our router to get better coverage in our home. we went tothis router and it helped. the only issue is we had limited choices as we also needed a voice line to use our xfinity telephone

Running 500/500 from Frontier! I can listen to music and ask Google questions (Points only not Router). Awesome! Also bought another Router and am managing both homes with the Google Home app! Which I can also manage my Nest and iRoomba!

I added the new AC2200 system to my older 3-pack. ( new nest is backwards compatible). The new system is faster and keeps up with my FIOS GIG-speed router. If you go this route, be sure to factory reset the old hardware. It will save you hours of trouble shooting.

I would recommend this to everyone! Especially people who are not tech savvy. Set up is easy and i have not had a single connection issue since i bought this product. (Coming from someone with over 40 smart home connected devices)

We seem to have bad luck with routers. We have enjoyed the Google-Nest Wifi. It has provided great wifi for devices that we are able to connect. I would give this device a 5 star if it allowed an option to switch to the 2.4GHz instead of just allowing the device to decide what is best. Since we are not able to get our phones connected to the 2.4GHz, we are not able to set up several smart home devices as they will only complete the set up on 2.4. The router will not allow for a manual change from 5 to 2.4. Pros: Router is small. The wifi point is much like the Google Home or Alexa in addition to providing better wifi coverage. Set up was easy on the App. Cons: Unable to manual connect to 2.4 to allow for smart home device set up. Wifi doesn't show if it is connected to the 2.4 or 5.

I was looking to purchase a new modem, router, and another Google Home when I went to Best Buy. I did some price comparisons, and found that buying the nest router and point would be the best option to take care of the router and Google Home in one purchase. It is a great price for a router and an extension/Google Home. I didn't need the extension that the point provides, but the speaker on the point is wonderful and perfect for my living room/kitchen. The sound is really clear, and I like having another Google Device that I can ask questions. The point is an added bonus. I did have an issue with them one day after I installed them (needed to fiddle/reconnect, only took about 10min to solve), but I've had them for a month now and have had no issues since.

We have this in our main home and vacation homes. This purchase for the main home being the newest. They all work amazingly and Google has been great overall. We left Alexa to go over to google and don’t regret it one bit!

I didn't think this would live to to the hype or price but it did! This is the solution I have been looking for to fix my wifi coverage upstairs. If you are having coverage issue this is for you!

Router is on basement and I had dead spots in garage and yard. Cellphone coverage was weak but now I have WiFi everywhere I need it. I recommend bypassing your old router if it’s a combo modem/router to eliminate interference.

I don't know why I waited so long to get one of these. It fixed all of my wifi connectivity issues I was having with my tv and other devices. I haven't had any issues since I bought this.
