With this router, I was able to stream Netflix and Hulu from my PS4 somewhat easily, about 15 ft away behind a door from my room in my apartment. The data transfer rates are up to 300 Mbps for the 2.4 Ghz channel, and +867 Mbps for the 5.0 Ghz channel. Unfortunately, this router didn't provide adequate coverage for gaming from that distance, so if you're a heavy streamer or gamer, this probably isn't the router you want to go for.

I could not use Netflix because my signal was only 3.5 . With this router my signal increased to 81.5 and Netflix was no problem.

The net gear ac1200 dual band wifi 5 router multi is the best. You can resize internet from wherever you are.

We needed to upgrade our in home WIFI. This dual band has worked perfectly for our spit level home with access all over the home and outside on our property.

I like this very much I could control who could you my internet. When my son was listening. I could block him. Awesome

this product allows us to stream multiple devices without cutting off or issue with too many devices online at the same time. I think this was a great value.

Overall, a good router, installed many of these. Setup can be difficult as several reboots may need to be done to fully configure.

Great router for a single family. It is app capable so you can control everything from the touch of your phone!

Works good, but had some issues with connecting few WI_FI devices. But with customer support got through!

The item was on sale and my old unit died. I was in a hurry to get my wi-fi up to work on line and this was it. It has been a good unit for my needs.

Love Netgear products. Have had no problems except distance. Added an extender which resolved my issue to cover to cover some cameras.

We live in a two story house and have no issues getting fast wifi throughout the entire house and outside on the patio. I'm very happy with this product.

Nearly 2 weeks with no results in computer finding scanner! Have had HP remote assistance, IP and Geek Squad attempt to resolve without success.

I wouldn’t have WiFi without this product. I wouldn’t be able to play world of Warcraft cuz I gots to get my wizard to level 9,000

No problems, the most important aspect of Wi-Fi router. We stepped up a bit to buy this at recommend of sales person and have been absolutely satisfied.

Depending on what you need to do it works. If you are into streaming probably need to go for something higher

Bought it for my grandpa he loves it his download speeds are amazing and he can watch Netflix with no issues.

Current wifi set up not great and sales associated suggest this solution. Didn't need reception from outer space just the bedroom and basement. Works fine.
