I have had this router for approx one month and have had to reboot several times due to lost signal. One laptop can be right next to the router yet not in range; can not be found on network map. Software not user friendly nor does it install fully on computer.

Great router if you need to setup guest access

This router is being used to support guest access at our location. Performance is great - coverage is 100% - simple to setup out of the box. I have used Netgear routers for years and have had little trouble with them. The auto firmware checking helps keep it up to date but still lets me decided to install it or not.

I was going to buy a new linksys AC router, since I've owned one for 14 years with no problems. Was talked out of it by a bestbuy employee, who said Netgear was better. Everything worked except the AirPrint function on my iPad and iPhone, which it says on the priduct box it supports and which worked fine with my old router. After 2 days dealing with Netgear support, which is in India, they finally admitted it is a firmware problem in the router. Which they sent me a patch for. The patch didn't work at all. I took the router back to bestbuy and they exchanged it for the linksys router I wanted in the first place. Everything works fine now with the linksys router..

The salesman told that it would be a snap to attach this router to my modem and go. It was not that easy and the NETGEAR app was not clear enough. The good news is that it works and I get internet services.

Didn’t work well with my set up. Also, there are better routers with newer features for less money. Take a close look at what you’re getting. Nice software for home network tools though.

This replaced my 8 year old router and it is much less powerful than my old one. This one has higher ratings and was supposed to be more powerful than my old one. I will not recommend this router to anyone else.

replaced a Netgear N600.It was very slow but consistently stayed connected. This one loses contact with devices regularly. Constantly shows no service. Cannot fix the problem with the online materials.

Product has USB 2.0 not 3.0 as listed on site. User interface is horrible and the app only has very basic functionality. I bought this product because of the sale price and I guess you get what you pay for.

This router is no better than the one I bought before it that was a model or two under this one. They still don't have enough strength to run wifi without issues on my tv

I had to return this because it was not strong enough to handle the traffic. If you are using anymore than 3 devices, pay the extra & go with the nighthawk1900
