After a recommendation from a knowledgeable BB worker I bought this router. My previous n300 router was not providing enough speed and dropping connection so I decided to upgrade. This router was very easy to setup, great features, and delivered the max internet speed that I signed up for. Also the range is much stronger.

An Excellent and Fair Price AC router

For the holiday on-sale price you would get a AC router with dual-band capability and reliable connection. I have used it for more than a week and experienced no issue with connectivity on both 2.4Ghz and 5Ghz bands. Setup is super easy almost like plug and play. Genie apps is easy to use and control. One thing to clarify is that this router doesn't seem to have beam forming technology as its box label does not state and I confirm it through Netgear website. I don't really care about beamforming feature since my signal is good to excellent on both floors of a >2,000 square-ft home. I am not sure not why I can't set up password for Guess-Access. Other than that I am very happy with the router performance and its low price.

I bought built-in Modem/ Wifi router. It is good for modem but very bad for router. Therefore, I buy this router. It offers AC wireless. It is very fast and I could stream HD without lag.

Finally upgraded from a Linksys Wireless-G router, which was lagging out due to too many connected devices. The Netgear dual band router works flawlessly with 4 phones, 2 xboxes, and 2 computers connected all at the same time.

Easy to get up and running. The dual band WiFi lets me stream Netflix to my Roku boxes on both floors of the house without a problem. The wired ports are gigabit. The QOS and guest access was also easy to set up. It's a huge step up from my old N router. The USB2 is not a deal breaker for me as I'm not using it for NAS or as a print server. If you're streaming a lot of video or if you have a household of heavy WiFi users, you can't go wrong with a router like this.

Good 2.4, weak 5 ghz range

The 2.4 ghz is great, but AC requires 5 ghz and that range is not that great. I ended up returning mine and getting the nighthawk R700 instead, I have great range for both.

Solid Wifi Router; Easy setup

This modestly priced router performs well in our house and was easy to set up. During setup it identified that 192.168.x.x address space would conflict with upstream network and so automatically switched to 10.x.x.x. Nice. Plug it in, change admin password, make some quick config changes through the Genie, and you are up and running in no time.

We bought this router because our last one did not have the power to run all of our wireless devices at once, nor did it have enough strength to reach our entire house. We also bought this router for the ease of access and how easy it is to set up parental controls and make changes to your network on the go. its a breeze to do with the netgear genie app for smartphones.

Easy to setup and configure. Excellent range and it cooperates with all our family's wireless devices without issue. Best router we've owned to date.
Also, it supports UPNP right out of the box - which is evidently true with all Netgear routers but they don't list it as a feature.

We were having some issues with our old router, it was really iffy with the wireless connection dropping out all the time. I can't speak to the technical aspects, but it was easy to set-up and the wireless has not only worked great thus far but it also seems to give a stronger connection throughout the house. Can't complain about the sale price, either.

Since I've used Netgear before, I just switched my older router for this great deal at BB. The wireless router came with a everything that I needed to set this up properly. The throughput improved with the older cable modem that I also purchased at BB a while ago. The biggest difference was with my Wifi throughput. Since I stream everything (tablets, Roku, Chromecast, computers, phones...) through my Wifi it gets pretty crowded but this router sped everything up. Increased bandwidth has helped improve performance for all of the household devices that use the wifi.

Seems to be one of the best prices, even over Amazon for a great brand name Router. Only have had a few days but easy set up. Works great out of the box. Good range and super face. Very happy with it

If you are within range this is a wonderful router... Would be great for an apartment or small-medium house. In a large house I find at 3-2 bars there are major speed drops.

A lot better than my previous router. It maxed out the bandwith that my service provider is putting out so I'm happy to utilize all available speed.
