strong signal, strong dual band, I would recommend

I have a 1900 square foot house and my wifi signal was not very good with previous N450 router so I decided to upgrade and I could not be happier! I no longer experience "dead spots" at home and signal is strong and connection is fast. Netgear Genie app is also very helpful! I would strongly recommend!

I was unsure about spending this much for a router but you get what you pay for. It was fairly easy to set up and has been a great improvement over my old netgear router. Glad I made the decision to get it.

Had this router for a month and no problems. It is inside our stereo cabinet and our wireless printer is in a closet and works find. Router handles both our laptops and cell phones at the same time without and lag time. Router has to be at lease 12 inches from any speaker or you might get some feedback.

Honestly it broadcasts fine enough to stream on 3-4 devices while 2-3 more are internet browsing with little to no lag. The only problem I had with it would frequently not load web pages or it would stop my videos and I'd have to restart my device to reconnect. Overall a good family or gamer modem for the price.

I have MacBooks and not all routers "play" well with Macs, so after research I chose this NetGear and it's improved the connectivity in my house so much. There are no less than 10 devices connected at a time and it's consistently a great router providing stable connectivity!

I bought the NETGEAR R 6250 Smart WiFi Router for it's WiFi Rnage, speed, security and Price !!!! It was on Sale at the time I bought it. Although , I was going with this one in mind to buy. AC 1600 Dual Band GB. It connects All of my device's in my home and more. When I have family over , their devices have not problem connection as well. Whether it is PC, Mac, Iphoner, Ipad Or Androd devices. As well mu TV's , Printer's , ....I am sure I am missing something. Supper easy to set up and use. MNETGEAR GENIE APP is uoir ownm personal dashboard to monitor, control and repair your home network as well as update.I also love the 24/7 tech. support. It say's from 90 day's from purchase. But I have called for a small issue...nothing big and they helped me without any trouble.. I was moving my ,WiFi Router and just needed assistance on the best choice of the room I had chosen There is so much to this router for me. Love it ! More things on this Router than I use....! Range is unbelievable. Secure connection is an absolute for me ! And NETGEAR make this so possible. Don't over look this one and pay way more for one that does the same or some less. Do your homework !.....Watch for a sale or price match ! Best Buy is great about doing that for you ! I would recommenced the NETGEAR R6250 Smart WiFi Router to my Family and Friends. A good performer. The Netgear Genie made setup easy, and the WPS button helps to make the pairing of wi-fi devices a piece of cake. Strong signal, plenty for streaming to 1 or 2 devices at a time.

I purchased this router in conjunction with a cable modem. The installation was simple and straightforward. The performance was outstanding. I am very pleased with my purchase.

I use this in a 500 sqft garage, works upstairs and downstairs very well. I stream 4K videos wirelessly without any lag, and multiple devices can run smoothly through it.

I didn't know anything about what a "good" router was so I asked the store personnel and they recommended this one and another high end one. All I wanted was to connect to the internet so I bought this one. It has worked fine. Nothing special that I can see or use other than its general purpose.

I got this because my router that came with centurylink was lacking in its wireless capability. I used this as the primary wireless access point but just plugging it into the CenturyLink router. Been a few months now and have not had any problems as of yet and the dual-band is especially helpful.

It was so easy to connect and connect to. The strength is awesome. I am connected halfway down my street and the doors do not have to be open for folks to get a signal. Love

My requirements for this type of equipment is that it is easy to set up and that it works without bothering me. This did the trick and had the necessary range in a two story building.

The router worked great out of the box. The software for managing the router is easy to use and provides all of the functionality you need. The parental controls work very well.

It's a great product net gear always been on top of Internet products. Had a few problems to installed it but called customer service and within few minutes was working at a high speed. Customer support very well trained it guide me thru all the steps I need it with no problem.

I am happy with this router. I have a 60mb ISP connection and can achieve that now. Previous router was only doing about 28, so this a good upgrade with nice throughput. 2.4 and 5ghz options are nice. We have multiple devices doing heavy use and still keeps up. I recommend this router.

I replaced a net gear router that I used for many years with this model. It has preformed above expectations. Great speed with as many 6 devices. Very simple install.

I'm very happy with the product. My only problem was understanding the installation steps; however, I managed to speak directly with NetGear's tech support (in India, no less!), who figured out the problem, fixed it, and then walked me through the steps. The router is working perfectly now!
