We had bought a new router for our apartment because I was constantly having to reset my router due to poor signal. I haven't had any problems with this product and have had it for about 2 months now! I would highly recommend this for anyone!

I do have the possibility of giving this product a 5 star rating if I had the corresponding NETGEAR Router. The connection should be a lot stronger when using a router and extender of the same brand. I will have to find out once I purchase one.

Was looking into upgrading my router I had a netgear n600 was looking for the ac models this model came up on sale and the specs on it looks ok installation and setup is easy was up and running my new faster network in less than 30 minutes.

Overall, this wireless router is easy to set up, works well, and provides a strong signal throughout my house.

My old router couldn't handle my newer 100Mb service. This one just gives it all and very flawless. No complaints, good reliable speed.

Installed per instructions. Log into your router as instructed. You must call your internet provided only if registering a new modem. They don't care what is after their modem. You must power reset the modem & router as usual for changes.

I had the prior version of this and it worked great. The new one is just as good with a little more range/speed. Solid choice.

So far we have been pleased with this router. Speed is good and signal strength is usually good to excellent depending on how far away you are.

In Longmont, Colorado where I live, the electric utility is run by the city, and 2 years ago the citizens of Longmont approved installation of 1GB service to homes in the city. This November I became part of the initial rollout of the service. The NETGEAR - Wireless-AC Dual-Band Gigabit Router with 4-Port Ethernet Switch was just the ticket for getting all of our devices 5 Android smartphones, 5 PCs, 1 Mac, 2 Chromecasts all up and running at amazing speeds. None of our devices is AC enabled, but when we get one, it will be ready to rock and roll.

I was reluctant to buy Netgear again after my last Netgear router just pretty much died on me, but so far, so good. Install was easy and connected up without much hassle. Time will tell if this lasts, but, at the moment, no complaints.

This router was really no better than the router I already had. I stream a lot of movies and shows and with my old router there was a lot of buffering, so I thought this router would help. It didn't change anything and I even use the ether net directly instead of the WiFi. Maybe the router is only useful if the device is also wireles AC instead of N or A, B. However the router is compatible with all so I assumed it would still work better. I feel like it was to much money for me to spend and not see a difference.

We did not realize how slow our former router was. This one is FAST and was terribly easy to set up.

Easy to set up, has 2 wifi channels. I get 30 mb on one channel and 100 - 130 mb download on second channel. Have about 100 mb from my isp. Parent controls are great, can set-up per device on home network from my iPhone app.

Had a few issues with some computers being able to use the dual-band feature, but overall it is a good router - nice replacement for our previous one that was having problems.

I wanted a router that would reach to the far end of our house and this does the job very well. Nice sleek look to it too.

This router is extremely fast and very easy to set up. It is very easy to link up wireless devices with its "smart" button.

Replaced old Linksey router. This router was a definite upgrade. Did not realize how bad my old router was. I upgraded to better modem also but before setting up noticed big difference with just router change using old modem.

Replaced a 6+ year old Cisco unit and expected better device performance but really didn't notice any. Setup was very easy and allowed custom configuration like passwords, etc.

As soon as I plugged in and connected to the temp network, it changed my IP address as I run a double network in my home. It knew that I had another network running. Hasn't cut out once & keeps speeds the same all the time.

The Best Buy salesman reccomended we try this product in place of our AT&T router. The range increased dramatically and the speed more than tripled. If you're having problems with range and/or speed you should try this product.
