This is a great product for the money. I have a ps3, ps4, 2 wii's, 2 tablets, a laptop, a pc and 2 phones and i never have any problems especially with gaming.

I have 3 laptops, 3 cell phones and 2 smart TV's that all share my wi fi connection at home and this unit can handle them all without any noticeable slowdown.

Been messing around with the router/modem combos and have been dissatisfied greatly. Switch to a dedicated AC router and I am flying on wireless internet!

Netgear in the past has always been my number one choice but in the past several year I have not needed this option. Recently moved and the need was once again there. Went straight to the Netgear display and found the as-1600 that matched my requirements. Easy to setup and was working immediately and continues to perform. I would highly recommend Netgear.to anyone.

We had to relocate it to another room in the house in order to get it to work well. When I put it in the room the original one was in, it would not produce at all. So, you have to check to see which location works best which can be a pain. The original one worked fine for 3 years but finally died a slow death. Wonder how it would have done if we had located it in the newer location.

Happy with the performance so far. Was hoping to get a broader coverage than it provides but it's still a good router. It was on sale so the price was good.

Highly recommend the purchase of this equipment. It solved the dead space internet problems within my house. Response time is excellent.

I purchased this Netgear router as an alternative to a Linksys Smart wifi router in the same category & price range as this one. Unlike the Linksys (which under-performed in all of its supposed key feature areas), it was immediately clear that this Netgear router provides excellent wireless signal coverage over both 2G and 5G channels, and I am able to get maximum mbps over 2G with multiple devices connected (and well over what my maximum speeds are supposed to be when using the 5G channels!). The beam forming tech seems to be working great on this device (unlike the Linksys), as I have no concerns about signal strength regardless of what part of my home I am working from. Could not have asked for more, and BestBuy allowed me to price-match for a better deal at time of purchase too! A win-win all the way around! :)

This router has solved all of our internet access issues. It works well providing multiple Wi Fi connections within our house. Well worth the cost.

We have 2 smart tvs, iPads, and iPhones in our house and we have great service for all of them. We did not have that before we purchased this router.
