adequate connectivity

I then purchased a significantly more expensive model thinking more $ would equal better. But there's no magic from the upgrade, providing adequate and equivalent signal throughout and around the house as did the cheaper model. Hopefully it will outlast the old one.

Plug it in and call NETGEAR

Called NETGEAR and had to tell the TECH to put on a new headset (could not hear him) and was still hard to understand due to lack of English skill and accent. However, excellent skills and got the job done and got the system up and running.

Worked well when got it set up

Netware support was hard to understand and I am not a tech person. The first representative was no help at all. The next day I got another representative that walked me through the set up.

It works great, but I wish my Best Buy location had more options when I comes to DSL modems. I purchased this modem as a replacement for my original modem that was only a year old, that was covered by a protection plan, died. Since this was the only model my location offered I had to spend $180 on a new modem.
