The netgear modem router works well, easy set up. No issues after several months. Great range.

First I would like to commend the employee who helped me. Prior to coming into the store, I did extensive research on modem/router combos and had narrowed the choice down to 5 units - based on customer ratings. The employee was very patient and explained the pros and cons of each unit I was considering, their warrantees, and which unit would best fit my needs. He didn't try to oversell me on anything. The product works great!

I was having a lot of trouble with my provider being reliable, I decided to try a new modem router and bought this one, it has a genie in it that helped me and my provider(who said it would not be compatible) to set it up. I know have great reception on my New4K TV like I did not have before and the computer is working much faster Thanks Best Buy Geeks for suggesting this one to me Thumper

The first thing you do after purchase is to call CenturyLink tech and tell them you bought it and need your initial login info they set you up with. It does work with them and they confirm it too. After that use the Netgear instructions and set it up. I have the 40mbps service and am on it now. This will save you time and don't call Netgear unless you want to waste more of it.

This Netgear modem/router is one of the best I have owned. It is way better than the cheap ones DSL companies try to send you. I recently had to download updates for the router to get it to work top notch and had no issues since then.

DSL in my area was exceptionally slow and unreliable with ISP supplied router; and I had a monthly rental fee? I now own my Netgear router and the internet speed is much improved!

I had an older modem/router provided by my ISP. I was having a wireless problem where my download speeds would drop all the way down to 3 MBPS in some parts of the house. I got this dual band router and my wireless speeds now exceed the DSL speed I am paying for. Had to also install a couple of net extenders for the lower level of the house, but this piece of equipment plays well and works well with all the accessories. Dual band capability proved to be great for us as we could split accessories and laptops/iPads between 2G and 5G, which really cleaned up the wireless clutter and traffic. Good solution for us. This was a good buy.

Bought this to replace a little over year old Actiontec. This router/modem has done everything we have wanted to. We have it on our second level, and we have no problem getting a signal in our basement. We are very happy with this purchase.

Get all in one router & modem. With living in the country, reasonable internet options are limited. Recently the AT&T provided router and modem was acting up. Purchased this one to replace it. After having the necessary information from the provider, I was easily able to set up the unit and now have wonderful range and connectivity. Very pleased with the purchase.

We were having trouble with our modem and the phone company stated it was not on there end, so we decided to upgrade our modem and went to Best Buy to get one. The service person that we spoke with was very helpful and knowledgeable. He explained the difference between the two we had picked out and we asked for a suggestion and he recommended the Netgear modem.

We had no intention of purchasing this router bc the router we purchased was still under factory warranty plus we bought a protection plan. But to find out the the router was discontinued. The sales clerk were very apologetic and helpful in purchasing this router. Supposably, for someone who not Tec savy, they said it was too of the line. So far, no issues.

Great router and modem combo to elimate wires. Had to call their tech services number and they spent a lot of time on the phone trying to get it working. Turned out the problem was with my internet service provider.
