I liked this unit better than my previous Linksys router. The set up was pretty easy, but I have had problems getting the parent controls to work. The signal seems to be strong throughout our 2,000 sf house.

Worked as advertised! Have many devices as well as smart home devices which bogged down my providers router and kept knocking us offline or constantly resetting the old router. Bought this router easy setup and have not had 1 problem in 2 months since purchase

and I wish I had known about them a long time ago. NetGear saved the day of internet issues with me because CenturyLink's wifi tower is so weak it's ridiculous. I recommend NetGear to everyone who wants fast and furious internet. NetGear is a 10 star product and well worth the price. Thank God for NetGear!!!!!!

Paired up to the network with just a call to my isp. Much faster then the century link modem with much better realiability. Does require a reset every once in awhile but other than that it's great!

Had a little trouble setting up, but with help from NetGear staff on phone, got it up and running. Everything I expected and has been trouble free even for an older guy who isn't a tech dude.

My mom bought this router for our family after struggling to find one that could withhold a lot of wireless devices at once. After forcing to purchase one from our provider we found this one at Best Buy. It was a good price and works fabulously.

The AC1600 increased my wifi range with a strong signal throughout my house so all my wireless products like computers, phones, and TVs get a strong signal even in the basement or yard.

My old modem was over 15 years old and was beginning to degrade. To get another modem from Centurylink was expensive, this one is reasonably priced and works on Centurylink DSL.

I bought this modem/router to connect to my centurylink internet in my business because I can offer an internet to my customers and use a different channel. The best decision I could take. After Centurylink wanted to sale to me another line paying double the cost of what I am paying now.

Nice easy to set up router with great wireless coverage at home. Just wish my ISP had better service.

We didn't know what we were going to need when we went into the store, and luckily a knowledgeable employee helped us and guided us to this product which was easy to setup and use with our new Internet Service through Century Link.

I have had Netgear in the past and they have always worked great, so when my AT&T modem/router went out or the 3rd time I decided to get one that I knew would work a Netgear.

does what it needs to. issue I have is with the company and slow speeds, not the modem. it's more than capable to do what it needs no and more than what I need at the moment.

I had internet equipment supplied by my ISP. When it gave up I replaced it with the NETGEAR unit. It seems that the supplied equipment was the plug in the pipe as there was a big improvement in the DSL speed. It was also an easy install and requires a small amount of desk space.
