As it was explained to me by a store employee this product was as good as the product that you would receive from the cable provider and Best Buy provides a 2-year warranty after which you would have to buy a new one. He said they have about the same to the four-year of life span. the cable company replace there's at no charge. So it really provide you no benefit to purchase that item versus using the cable company's product. He provided The Only Exception was if you had varying large wifi system needs and this would have a stronger stronger output. But that is something I do not need.

The fiance and his son had an older model Netgear router when I moved in (it was part of their internet service package). It was slow and we often lost internet service altogether. Since his provider wouldn't replace the router unless it completely died, I bought the AC1750. It's faster than the old router, and our internet service is more stable. We still experience some buffering issues while streaming video, but it happens less than with their old router. It will do until Fiber comes to the boonies.

Great device, not a fan of the stock firmware that comes from Netgear, good thing is fully compatible with ddwrt custom router firmware, works like a charm

I love this router and the dual band network. Netgear always delivers and the external antennas make a big difference. Also its at a great price!

Got this to replace outdated Netgear WiFi router. Very easy set up, quick. Had existing Netgear extender that was easy to connect to new router.

Easy set up right out of the box, just hooked it up and reset a few passwords and it was online in less than 1/2 hour.

The router works very well and has made a huge difference in our house. The only downside is the lights on the router are so very bright, at night it is like a beacon in that room.

Go this for my daughter’s college/ apartment . 4 girls with total 8 devices at the same time, Signal is strong.... girls loves it

This router is great for the price! It has great range in my house. Thought I was going to need an extender or another router but I don't with this router.

I bought this to be able to connect multi devices and more coverage around our house as well as outside. It works really good and have no problem, it's doing its job.

easy setup, really increased signal strength. compact, but lights on top are annoying at night if you have it in your bedroom. I cover it up.

Works well and easy to set up and get running. It's a small area so I couldn't say if it's good or not for a larger place. My space is about 800 sq feet.

Purchased this router to improve our streaming. It works fantastic. Easy to setup and use. Just remember to end your previous router with your Internet provider.

We have a lot of devices in our house so I bought this to use so we would not max out our wifi modem and it has performed very well.

With my previous router I needed wireless extenders, though not with this one. All areas of my 2400 Sq ft two-story house are well covered by the wireless signal.

I really like the netgear, it’s what I needed to get a better signal. I am very happy. I needed a pro to install it.

So far, so good. Using it for a month or so and have no complaints or problems. Fairly easy to set up.
