Handles my household with at least 10 active connections simultaneously and the Netgear software is actually extremely useful for making quick edits. Like changing the password until chores get done, etc. I will note here that if you have cats who like warm electronics, and suddenly your router goes down, check to see if they stepped on the buttons on top of the device. The placement of these buttons is the only reason why I knocked it from 5 to 4 stars.
