Changed our internet game
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Have Grande internet, wifi was crap for a while, bought this new router, set it next to our Modem/Router combo we got from them and I have ridiculous speeds even in places where I didn't get any wifi coverage before. I used to not be able to use wifi on our back patio ever but now I'm pulling 100+ through the air download and almost our max 50 upload. Great product.

Horrible wifi speeds!

I bought it as a replacement for a TP Link because I thought it would be an upgrade. Boy was I wrong! The web-based user interface on this router is outdated and not particularly intuitive. But the far bigger problem was that the Internet speed via wifi was horrible. When using this, I was getting 220mbps over a wired connection, and a pathetic 9mbps over wifi. After researching further I discovered this is a common problem for these Netgear routers. So I pulled my old TP Link router out, switched it out, and was almost instantly back up to 46mbps over wifi. No other changes were made, so I know this garbage product was the cause.

I needed my connection to conduct business without delay, so rather than going through the trouble of sending it in or troubleshooting to determine the problem, I decided to go ahead and purchase a new model, which solved my problems and it has been working great for my needs.
