It reaches to my bedroom from the office but drops off speed quite a bit. It is through a couple of walls and about 40-50 ft away. It's not a big deal to me but if it was a little stronger then it would be 5. The 5 Ghz doesn't go very far at all vs the 2.4 but that is not the routers fault. Overall it's a good product and I'm satisfied with it.
