Just set up my Netgear Nighthawk wifi router and the installation process was amazing! I downloaded the app on my phone and it walked me thru each step of the process. It's been a few years since I bought a new router and I was anticipating a complex / involved process to set up the new one ... I'm really impressed!

Great router! installed easily and works great with my network. Fairly bulletproof and all my devices found it with no problem. The issue lies with the accompanying app, or at least the Android version. Doesn't remember what devices are what, and has more than a few bugs. Hopefully Netgear will fix this. That being said, it's a decent router and one worth buying.

I was so annoyed that I had to buy another one of these...they need upgrading too quickly. I guess that's the price you pay for ever-improving technology. It does what it's supposed to do & supports all my devices well with plenty of capacity. I hope this one last a bit longer than my last one....routers seem to be a little more volatile than modems. Time will tell

last time I purchased a netgear router that was for my laptop. it lasted 6 yrs! now with a NETGEAR - AC1750 Dual-Band Wi-Fi 5 Router - Black I have in my apt now a desktop in the living room and a laptop in my bedroom please let keep my NETGEAR - AC1750 Dual-Band Wi-Fi 5 Router - Black for another 6 yrs. At first when I got this up and running I was amazed with how much faster it was than my old router. Now that I’ve had it a few weeks it I’ve learned that it’s never using 5G option, so what’s the point of having 5G as well? And videos are buffering when it’s one device using it and this is meant to handle multiple so I feel like this will be so flow with 4-5 devices at a time. Time will tell if this was worth it.

I bought this router to replace an identical unit. I bought a new desk, and decided to put the router on top of the hutch. Bad idea. When hooking it up I pulled a little too hard on a wire, and my router fell, and never worked again. So it’s not indestructible. But since I bought the same unit as a replacement, I had confidence in the product. Great buy for the money and easy to hook up.
