This is my second netgear router. We had one in our home for years and now we have this one in our beach place. I highly recommend this router and will purchase again.

Router supplied by Suddenlink would not allow recognition of security cameras without an open security mode, which is not acceptable. NetGear router allowed recognition of security cameras with security mode intact. Allows saving on Suddenlink monthly rental fee also.

product was not compatible with my moms internet provider (windstream)

It does the job. I've had some issues with having to reboot the wifi alot. It may have to do with my Hughes Net modem as my service is not great. My speed was good at first, and then got slow. Again, it may be my modem, not sure.

My internet connection would always drop. Not sure if that's Comcast or my modem/router. I ended up buying a separate router and modem instead of having 2 in 1. It's been working fine since. When I was connected my internet was quite fast.

It has pretty good range. I like it for my house. I would recommend it to anyone.

Needed a new router after my old one suddenly quit working. The young man at my local Best Buy helped me pick this one out and it works perfect for our needs. We run several phones, computers and smart tvs. We've had no problems at all and are very pleased with our purchase.

We added this to the cable providers router to expand coverage. It works well and the app sure beats logging into the router through a browser to make any needed changes. Simple setup and I haven't thought about this router since its install - exactly what I was looking for.

Save yourself some headache and call the manufacturer (NETGEAR) after your initial setup, they will walk you through the registration process and you will start enjoying this router. Design is great, looks really cool and just works great. Having fun with it so far.

Not the best router, it boots you off the wifi randomly and it has to be rebooted. The circle family app is cool though. Purchased this in a pinch when our router died, solid chance i will upgrade again next year.

Feel like I have to reboot it a lot more that I ever had to on my much cheaper router. Gave that one to my daughter to go to college and thought we would upgrade. May switch back with her. Although, I can't be positive if it is the router or my internet provider.

I bought this nice router and ditched my cheap one which was 20$, you really what you pay is what you get.. but it's really important to read the review first before you get any of these techs, If you have 5 devices and up, this router is what i recommend for those who want to maximize their connection..

It worked well. It was easy to set up and put in my own passwords and network name via my PC's browser. We now have solid bars for internet on our phones throughout a 1400 sqft home. When i go running my phone actually connects to the network 4 houses down. Love it.

Originally ordered a lesser model, which proved to be defective. Returned it to Best Buy without resistance. No more in stock so bought next higher model (AC1750) which works well. Installed it on a timer to reduce radiation while sleeping.

I'm really like my new router. Its capabilities far exceed my old router. I love the Netgear app. It allows you to see all of your devices. And I really love is futuristic design. My only complaint is that the signal strength doesn't go as far as my old Netgear router did. But I'm still happy with my purchase.

seems to work fine, but no instructions for setup - had to figure out who to call to get assistance with setup. the company should understand that not everyone is a 15 year old for whom this is understood from toddler age.

Went through 2 routers and it would not connect to the internet. Had to get our ISP to do a service call and they finally got it to work(for a price). Don't know if it was the router or provider but it wasn't just plug-and-play like advertised. Once working, it does what it is said to do.

I love this router and strength is much better than my previous more expensive router. It has great security and frequently scans for issues on connected devices.

Works very well and definitely cleaned up all of my video streaming quality. Bought this and a modem to replace my Comcast box. My only complaint is all of the lights on the router being difficult to hide but that may not be a problem for most depending on location

I bought it because I needed something stronger because I recently moved into a two story home. I was told it would work well however I’ve moved the antenna several times and downstairs I still Don’t get the best Wi-Fi. Definitely works really really good when I am upstairs near it.
