Customers are saying

Customers are pleased with the AC1750 Dual-Band Wi-Fi 5 Router's ease of use, range, and performance, frequently citing its straightforward setup and strong signal. Many appreciate the router's reliable coverage and its suitability for streaming. While some find the router's size a bit large, the majority of negative feedback focuses on minor issues such as occasional lag and bright lights.

used this for an office; it was able to handle both voip and data. used a second for an AP; yes wasted money on the 2nd, but wanted to insure the quality of the other. Able to handle the demand from the office.

Con: setup is cumbersome. Pros: it creates four separate networks for traffic segregation and has two USB ports for network devices like printers and hard drives.

I used to use the default router provided by my service provider, but it was always slow and had very less range. The net gear router upgrade did the job for me, it can support up-to 15 devices and has very good range. I live in a town house and did not have any problems so far.

Set up is through an app, which was a kind of unnecessary. It should be possible to do through the website. Initially, had some issues, but the customer service was very helpful and resolved the problems straightaway.

This is my main router for my home with a business internet connection. The Netgear internet settings take some getting used to however if you don't know it well enough it can be found with online search.

We got the right help from the store clerk to provide the required service for the size of our house at a fair price. We had to contact our internet provider to get it to connect, but we have had no problems with the product. Thank you.

My previous router was a single band router and still works fine. I like to sit on the couch and use my iPad while the TV is on. Now I don't have to compete with my TV for air time. Worth upgrading if you have the need for more wireless bandwidth.

Flexible setup. Gives you a "Guest" network for you to use. If you lease a router from an ISP, the "Guest " network in their router becomes an available connection to any ISP customer to connect and thereby decreasing your available bandwidth.

I bought these mainly for my IP Cameras for my homes due to the wireless range and the remote login thru the app to check devices on my networks and to be able to reboot if needed. They are also a great wireless router just to use around the house.

bought this with a new modem to get rid of comcast equipment. Router works well, as we have been using for just over a month now. Great for our size home which is under 3500 sq. ft.

Very temperamental...this thing works great getting the signal across the house but when disconnected, expect to try reconnecting for at least an hour. Overall good and the app helps monitor/make changes/restrict

My only complaint about this product was how hard it was to setup. The app they told me to download didn't work, I had to connect to it via a website in my phone browser to activate and download updates. But after that, works great.

It's decent for the price...but has some drawbacks

For starters, it's not the fastest router available but it's good for money. It's easy to set up, though I have to confess i don't use any of it's back-up features. For anyone who has logged into a router to set up before, I can attest that this area of use is pretty typical and there's nothing glowing or detracting to say about it. Now...for the bad. I had purchased this router previously. It lasted for just over a year and then died. And when I say died, I mean it just straight up stopped functioning one day. It's connected to a surge protector. It's wired into a NetGear modem. I called support hoping to figure out if it was a software or hardware issue (after power cycling, checking with my service provider to make sure there wasn't an outtage in my area, staring at the lights and comparing to the manual etc). Man does their service SUCK. I mean TERRIBLE. I think Comcast owns them. Ok, for the details: They had me wait on hold after I entered in my serial numbers etc. They discussed the issue with me. Then, after about an hour of this procedure, they finally tell me they can't help me until I pay $80 for a service extension. Really? REALLY? I get that you can't fix it over the phone if it's a mechanical/physical issue. I understand that warranties expire. But you won't even try to diagnose it? I mean, for the $80 I'll just go out and buy a new one! What compounds this level of stupidity on their part is that they REFUND THE $80 IF THEY CANNOT FIX THE ISSUE. In my case, it was a hardware issue and it burned out...took me about 90 minutes of messing with it to get the right indication lights to show up for me to know that. So I would have had to pay them, go through god-knows-how-much-time-and-hassle to get to the same conclusion, get my money back, and then have to buy a new one anyway. If I weren't moving out of the country shortly...I would have bought something different. In order to just get things back up and running again quickly I just replaced it with the same version so I could be done with the hassle.

Very easy to install. Very strong wifi thru out the house. Nice price. Have had this for about 6 weeks now. Only reason I did not give it 5 stars is due to the signal degrading on a single occasion so far. Powering it off and back on again solved the problem. Other than that delighted with the product.

As usual Best Buy is the best. Chris our sales/floor person was great. We had limited knowledge of the newer Xbox products. He explained the product very well; I had my 12 year old grandson with me and Chris was great in explaining in a sense we both could understand!

Auto configuration was surprisingly fast to configure to an Xfinity modem. No need for technician for self install. Has additional capability of making USB, WiFi or Ethernet connected printers AirPrint compatible (a bonus for owners of Apple iPads, iPhones, PC's, etc.)
