I have had this router for about 3 years and it worked wonderfully until a storm fried it (my own fault). I plan on replacing it with the same model and a surge protector.

The router we were using was not quite powerful enough to meet our needs give the size of our house and the resultant distance to different pieces of equipment. Your Geek Patrol rep recommended the equipment we purchased and we are b ack in business.

I needed to update my Router and this Netgear fit the bill and has been working well so far. My son connected it for me and it has been a good upgrade.

This router replaced my old non AC type router. All my devices stream flawlessly now no lag, no freeze. I'm a total data hog, this router supports 3 PC's, 2 streaming TV's, streaming Android box, and Roku Express. Great upgrade.

Netgear always delivers in the "wireless department." This one is their top unit, allowing up to 12 users to be connected at one time. That's not only a large sum in today's tech world, but a breakthrough in balance and durability. A+ to Netgear.

Had an N300 and needed to upgrade. First bought a linksys AC but had wireless connectivity from the beginning. Purchased the Netgear AC 1750 and all is right in the world again. Though it wasn't as easy to setup and configure as the linksys which is why I only gave 4 stars.

Check to make sure it works with Century Link. Not sure it is the modem or Century Link techs not knowing what is going on. That is my only concern and it has more to do with my internet service than the modem. Would not recommend if you use Century Link.

I online game and was having lagging and connection issues with router provided by spectrum. Got this bad boy and haven't had a problem since and speeds are faster than what I'm suppose to be getting.

It works good. Let me connect all my wireless without bogging down

Love this router. I can pause individual devices and parental controls are the bomb. The circle ap that comes with is great I don’t even mind paying for the subscription. Has made parenting so much easier.

We needed to replace our router. This unit is somewhat overkill since our internet plan provides less than 8 mbps, but the added security which comes with this router makes the purchase worthwhile.

I had to replace my router due to a lightening strike. My previous router was also a netgear and I had owned it a few years without much issue. This one, however, seems to drop signal at least every 3-4 days randomly and then picks the signal back up in about 4-5 minutes. Quite frustrating as I often work from home and need to stay connected. Also frustrating when my family is trying to watch a Netflix movie and have to wait to resume. Not sure that I would re-purchase. I may even look at replacing this one when my budget allows.

Office is in an older building with thick walls. Was looking for a router that could deliver good service across a large area of the building. This thing delivered! It covers all 7,000 square feet and parts outside. Incredibly impressed and would recommend.

I had an old Netgear, my internet was super slow and figured I would try an updated router before thinking about paying more the get better internet access. This router was a great choice. It performed better than expected. I highly recommend this product!!

After months of dealing with WiFi issues. Several other brands, finally decided to get a third router and Netgear was the charm. No more issues, just what I needed. Now I can focus on other priorities

This was quick to set up and provides a good wireless speed. To set up, it is very helpful if you can download the appropriate app which lets you control it from your phone. Works with Verizon FIOS.

Updating to this router eliminated all of the interferences on my TV. All of those skips, freezes, inability to view Netflix and sound distortions disappeared when this router was installed.

I returned a lessor quality router and glad i went with this one.

As per company's menu speed is fast but I checked and compared with old device it isn't faster. Even it dropped signals all the time. I can't recommend to my friends

Just changed internet providers and wanted to purchase my own router instead if paying monthly for one. We have several wireless devices in the house and need something that could take the load. So far so good. No complaints from other household members.
