This router easily handles the workload of a family of 4 with 4 smart phones, 2 laptops, a smart tv used for viewing Netflix and amazon prime daily, and a wireless printer. We also have 2 regular computers attached to it.

While only 1 month's use, so far function has been impeccable. While waiting for my PC to arrive (and now needing a new desk) I have been using my laptop wirelessly. Connection is strong and FAST.
No downside. Will upgrade to a 5th star after 6 months!

I was a bit hesitant to purchase a different brand other than what I am used to, but I am so happy that I did. Excellent set-up and connectivity. Thank you Netgear

I've yet to get close to the 100 MBPS speed I'm supposed to get. I get close when hard wired but never been able to when connected to wifi with this router or previous router. This router is supposed to handle much faster speeds than even 100 mbps.

Improved my house WiFi to cable modem speed by over 100 percent. Went from 24mbps with my old WiFi on a 50mbps internet service to the full 50mbps with 9 devices sharing the WiFi. Wish I would have upgraded long ago.

Have used various routers in the past which I have found less than adequate for my purpose ! The price which Best Buy offered for this top of the line Netgear Router was more than competitive with other offers!

Spend a lot of time outside in a fair distance from the house and needed something with an extended range. So far, I have found this product answered the mail and get good reception throughout a large house and also outside but near the house.

We had an older net gear product that just wasn't getting the job done. Our Roku was slow and always buffering but not anymore thanks to this updated wifi. It also is able to handle several devices at same time.

Have purchased several of the same model router and have had a good experience overall.
However i needed to connect the router to an external antenna and found that they have replaced the removable antenna metal ends with a plastic insert. You can no longer unscrew the antenna. Replaced with cheap plastic connect ion

I replaced a netgear router I had for about two years and found this one (the 1750) to provide superb service as far as reception at a greater range. Installation was simple and it only took a few minutes. I love it!

For the price this is unbeatable. Solid 5G and 2.4G signals inside, and around my.property. Improved my connection speeds greatly compared to my old N600 router. The setup genie is quick and really easy to use.

Excellent wireless router. Much improved connection with this router than the one provided by Spectrum. Don’t seem to get disconnected when using and connection seem to be faster

When I first connected up this router I was frankly surprised at how well it handled everything I threw at it in terms of connections and constant use. Then 4 short months later I started noticing as some other reviewers have pointed out that the connections would slow to crawl. Suddenly I sporadically started seen my 5GHz connections go from 110Mbps to a consistent .8Mbps (yes thats not a typo, less than 1Mbps). Initially I sent my internet service provider my full ire thinking that there is no way my relatively new router could be the issue. Time warner understandably does not have the best reputation. They came in found no real issues other than old cabling. They replaced all cables even those outside my home going to the power poles on my block. Nothing changed. Sometimes a reboot of both the router would help, other times it did nothing. Sometimes it would be good for a week or several days but it would start working fine eventually. Then I started seeing this issues happen more frequently until finally at the end of December it was an everyday thing. I then noticed that when I swapped out the router with a borrowed one, or when I bypassed it completely and connected directly to my modem I had no issues at all.
This is what brought me to the really diving into the router itself. To date, dozens of reboots later, several firmware updates, and even just reverting the entire thing to it's default setup with the oldest firmware available only provided me with a couple of days AT BEST with a working router.
Since I am no longer within their 90 complimentary support window I get no help over phone unless I pay. Email support as a lot of others have pointed out takes an eternity to get any sort of response from.
I cannot tell you how disappointed I am with this product and it's customer support.

Upgraded my older dual band Netgear. Easy to setup and configure. Right away I could tell a difference in speeds. I mainly use the 5ghz band since it runs better. I would recommend this router.

Depending on which cable provider you have hooking up this device can either be simple or complicated requiring hours. It's a good peice to have once set up but the head ache it produces in set up leads me to give it only a four. Best of luck

Like the equipment. Only fair in person technical support. Agent gave me inaccurate information for connecting a verbal assistant. Finally found the proper instructions on my own to connect to my network.
