I bought this to replace my aging router. Then I saw the Asus RT-AC68U with a lower price. Unfortunately, I have to return this Netgear.

I've been buying Netgear routers for years and was hoping this model would follow in the footsteps of previous models that had outstanding range (my most important feature). Unfortunately, this one didn't live up to the rep. Weak signal in the opposite side of my home from where the router sits means this one is going back. I tried to mess with the antenna configuration, but it didn't help. I guess I can buy a range extender, but that's another $100. I'd rather spend that on a better router and have one less device to potentially fail...

This router has so many features. I have wifi for my family and a feature where the guest can use a different connection. I highly recommend
