It comes with a trail run security protection I wish it could be turned off when I want it I had to wait a month or so for it to expire. It has great range but I’d suggest putting it on the second floor if you have one

You could not pick up the 5g broadcast unless you were right next to the router. The technical support for netgear is horrible. Unless you purchase the technical support plan they cannot help you. The warranty on the device (which I still have 5 more months on) does not cover the issue I had. Without Netgear's pricey support plan you must fix problems on your own from the help articles on their website. None of the articles helped to resolve my problem so now I am stuck with a router that cannot offer 5g from any distance over 2 feet and there is nothing I can do about it. I would not recommend solely on the fact that Netgear had horrible customer service.

It didn't work so I returned it. Looks like a good quality, price is comparable, but didn't work with my modem.
