    This wi-fi router is supposed to be for a 1000 sq. ft. house. The signal is not great even when you are close to it.

    I was told the Night Hawk routers were much better than twc standard routers. This one turned out to be no better in any feature

    This was perfect for about 5 months then, something died inside. Now I cannot reach more than 4mb/s up or down. I replaced with a Spectrum-provided Sagecmom and now I am back to 375 mb/s speed. This is the second Netgear to poop out. :(

    I needed a bonded modem and this was recommended at the store. It didn't work in my situation - needed a bonded modem with this.

    Works great over Ethernet. But WIFI is dodgy. Using 5Ghz bandwidth is the only way to go (usually runs from 100 - 200+ Mbps). Using 2.4 Ghz runs very slow (10 - 30 Mbps, but when it runs alright it runs at 100 Mbps). The router has to be constantly factory reset every few months to fix any WIFI signal problems.

    HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE & ROUTER

    THE NETGEAR ROUTER AC 1750 that I bought on 5/25/17 STOPPED WORKING PROPERLY JUST AFTER 35 DAYS. WHEN YOU CALL NETGEAR'S CUSTOMER SERVICE YOU GET INDIA AND YOU CANNOT UNDERSTAND A WORD THEY ARE SAYING. I AM STILL UNDER THE 90 DAYS WARRANTY PERIOD BUT NETGEAR WILL NOT HONOR THE WARANTY. NETGEAR TELLS ME I HAVE TO PAY THEM $79.00 TO GET CUSTOMER SERVICE. WHAT A JOKE. IF I COULD GIVE THEN NO STARS I WOULD AND BEST BUY WILL NOT HELP ME WITH THE PRODUCTS THEY SELL. I AM OUT $121.00. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND ANYTHING NETGEAR.

    WiFi constantly drops. Always have to reset router once WiFi drops to get WiFi back. Ethernet port works fine, but if you are relying on WiFi then please don’t waste your money on this router. After having a lot of issues with this router, I read some forum and there is no fix to this besides buying a new router. Don’t waste your money on this router unless you want to reset your router every other day. I can’t return the router anymore so waste of my money. Looking into another router at the moment. Prob not going back to Netgear since Netgear routers have been causing a lot of issues for me.
