Excellent router
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This router was by far the best and also very easy to set up. I liked it mainly because it works well for online gaming and also for the other smaller devices like phones and laptops. And on top of that I can have various devices running at the same time without lag.

Awesome so Far
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So far I have had this router for two or three months and it has been great. I now get the coverage throughout the entire house and no longer receive dips when someone else is on the wi-fi doing something demanding. Setting up the router was really easy too. The usual type in the web address and the adjust settings. The 5g band is definitly an awesome touch that works well also. Overall I really like the router for the price that was payed considering it was in black friday.

Great router!
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought this router to replace an old Linksys one that would drop a connection intermittently. This router hasn't dropped a connection yet and produces a strong signal anywhere in my moderately large house. Setup was pretty easy for me, although I could see how it could be frustrating for some people as it requires lots of typing on a smartphone through the app. Overall a great product! Recommend to anyone who doesn't want to worry about losing a connection ever again!

Easy setup, relilable service
||Posted . Owned for 5 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I replaced an older router with this one. The setup was so easy using the app that I ordered a similar model for my mother. I would highly recommend this for anyone who is a bit intimidated by technology. If you can load an app on your smart phone, the app will walk you through every step. Super easy. When I bought my mother's router I wanted one that used this same app so I bought her a very similar Netgear router. Her setup was also super easy.

Great signal range
||Posted . Owned for 8 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I initially bought this router to replace my western digital router as I barely get signal at the other end of my house. However, I used it as an extension route on the 2nd floor and never had a signal issue anywhere in the house. The signal strength is great and setup was very easy with the app. The app also helps to monitor the signal I am getting in my house. I would definitely recommend this product.

Fast but some of the features were causing issues
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Overall the basic functionality of the router was great. Fast speeds, good signal strength. I ran into a lot of problems with the wifi settings causing problems for a number of my devices/programs. And it wasn't straightforward how to solve it, because so many of the advanced settings had no description. Had to return it after a couple weeks. Still, if you don't need it for anything too advanced, it's a great router.

Excellent Wi-Fi - fast speed
||Posted . Owned for 4 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought this to replace a WRT1900v2 because my PS4 wouldn’t connect to the 5GHz randomly for some reason, this fixed the issues no problem. 400Mbps is pushed through this thing pretty effortlessly, about 60-70 ft radius keeps speeds about 320-340Mbps, so overall I’m pretty happy. Also, got this when it was marked down to $90, so it was too good to pass up. Lastly, the app is fantastic, much better than linksys was

Great for the price
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I would have given this router 5 stars, but I found the setup to be a little tricky. I would not call myself "tech-savvy" but I am not a dolt either. Once this router was up and running, I love every aspect of it! Range, speed, number of devices you can use at one time. Definitely would recommend, and Best Buy's one-day delivery service was spot on! Would buy again, especially at this price.

This was a steal
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. These went on sale 100 off, down to 80 bucks. Even at a 50$ discount this thing is worth it. Super easy to set up, no PC required. You can track your speed and manage what devices are connected to the router (and you can time-lock stuff like your kid’s video games at a certain time of the night) Much more leg room for my internet speeds, and I’m about to up the monthly cap without any worry!

Great router for the value of money
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This one is the replacement for my old Netgear router, which is still working for 2.4GHz range but not so much for 5GHz. With this Nighthawk AC2600 router, I am now able to connect all of my home devices, computers, TVs and phones over 5GHz, and the result is very satisfactory for me. Great signal strength and range. Can't think of a greater return for the amount of money spent before.

Good range
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This Nighthawk replaces a problematic Linksys router. Both its 2.4Ghz and 5Ghz bands cover every corner of the house and has been able to stand up to the near-constant streaming that happens here (2-4 video streams at any given time). My only real issue is the app that seems to be ideal way to set it up - it isn't very reliable. It frequently has issues connecting to the router.

Big but fast
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this to replace my 9 year old router which was slow for streaming movies. The router is almost as big as the box but I no longer have streaming issues with about 14 devices connected (not all active at the same time though). Haven't noticed any dropping yet as I read in some reviews. I like the easy setup using the app. It only took a few minutes to set up.

Great Coverage, Simple Setup
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My Asus router died so I needed a replacement. Asus routers are a little more in depth with the feature set and what can be changed in the settings. Netgear is a more plug and play experience, which is good for the majority of the population. I ended up getting this around Black Friday for half off. Excellent deal! I was also in need of a router with a secured guest-network, which this has (both on the 5 and 2.4 bands). You can enable both, or just one or the other. This is also one of Netgear's newest AC2600 routers. There are older routers also called AC2600. That is not the model number, it's the performance/bandwidth. The model number is R7400-100NAS. There is an R7350-100NAS (AC2400) that is slightly cheaper, but slightly less bandwidth as well. If you want a router with superb range, and is easy to setup and get going, that will handle all of the devices in your home, this is the one. Even the 5Ghz network reaches across my house. With my older Asus I would have to switch to the 2.4 band for long distances. Not anymore. Beamforming and MU-MIMO really help, but must be activated in the modems settings, not the Nighthawk app. The Nighthawk app is useless (basically for setup, updating firmware, and individually turning off internet access to your kids' specific devices without shutting down the whole network). So to actually get to all of the routers settings you must go to 192.168.1.1 address instead of using the app. A MAJOR negative in my opinion is that you CANNOT CHANGE THE DEFAULT"ADMIN" LOGIN NAME!. This reduces the login security by 50% if someone already knows the login ID. So make sure you put a real strong password. Like I said, this is a user friendly router that will get you up and running quick. If you prefer something with some extra tinkering options, look elsewhere. And be sure to look on Netgear's site for the full feature set of the router. This site has very little info.. I didn't know the router had a dual-band guest network until I checked Netgear.

Excellent Router at a Reasonable price
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. For the price, this router is excellent. Installation and setup could not have been easier, and used an app on my smart phone to do it. The app also offers a convenient way of checking performance and Internet provider speeds. Coverage in my three story home is excellent, with the router located on the lower level it easily covers to the upper floor.

Efficient and easy to use
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is one of the best routers I’ve ever purchased. It’s exactly what we needed at home and was super easy to set up- took no more than 5 minutes! The only thing I would hope they improve is the NETGEAR app, it would be cool to be able to prioritize devices. Aside from that, it is an excellent quality router at an awesome price.

Got this to replace an old router
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The range of this router is a little better than my old NetGear router and seems to be faster. Overall, it seems to work very well and we have not had any issues. The applications to manage the router are easy to use and work well. Got this on a really good sale otherwise I might have gone with a less expensive model.

Stable, long-range router
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Summary: Stable, long-range router. Easy to set up via PC connection. The app is a major pain: it is very slow and has limited functionality. You can skip it. Plus it requires to create Netgear account. I like that the router mergers 2.4 GHz and 5.0 under one name. You can also have (add, rather) guest accounts.
