Great range and speed even in farthest upstairs bedrooms

I am not a networking expert, so setting up a router can be intimidating. The interface and guide made it easy. I setup 3 networks on one router. My kids and home automation get one. My wife and my work get another. Then I setup a guest network. All three have been working smoothly with no more complaints about low bandwidth because of streaming. I did switch internet providers before I bought this and having my own router saved money.

BUY THIS PRODUCT, It may seem expensive but in the long run it is not expensive, paying to rent it from your cable company monthly will equal to more that the price of this router eventually so pull the trigger and buy this awesome router/modem.

Having dealt with the rental box spectrum gives you, this was a massive step up. I use this for gigabit internet at home and then disable the WiFi to use a google AP. If you’re having issues using a switch behind your router right now, get this so that it can handle IP assignment raiser and give you more wired connections. Paired with Cisco Meraki switch.

Love the reach on this thing- lots of range with 4 adjustable antennas. The interface seems a little old-school, but that's Netgear for you. Great hardwear, software is fine. I boosted my home wifi a ton with this new gateway device. Wish it worked with older Apple airport devices, but that's Apple's proprietary issue, not Netgear's.

So we got this one to replace our two-year-old model. This is a lot faster and I like how we can use different electronics on different channels. It says you can use the app to monitor the router however when I attempted to link it it says the app does not support it. Other than that as well worth it as I’d like having the modem and the router in one as opposed to having a separate modem and router.

Super fast. However, with the limitations of cable providers in your area, you may not be able to take advantage of the full capabilities of this product. Times are changing, make sure you have true fiber optic cable internet before you purchase.
