It's great, but you have to call the carrier for this WiFi router in order to work to its capability. I do a lot of streaming and gaming so this particular brand its really worth it.

Easy set up for a “regular” guy. Manages multiple divorces and high bandwidth well. Worth’s the $$$ even though I assumed it wouldn’t be. It was a Very good purchase.

I had a very old COX modem and after replacing with this all in one modem/router my speeds jumped up 10x as fast. Worth the investment if you work from home and need fast internet speeds.

I have Comcast and I was sick of renting routers/modems. I purchased this from Best Buy and it was the best decision. Not only did I save on renting a router but it has great coverage in my home.

Have Cox as internet provider and wanted to dump their rented panoramic modem/router. Thought I'd go big and buy this all in one Netgear combo modem router. I have the 300mb/s download plan. Wirelessly with the Cox modem I was getting around 250mb on the 5G band and 280mb directly wired. This Netgear could not get over 130 mb on 5G. Directly wired with a cat6 cable got me to 200 mb. Had Cox ping the device and check the line and everything was ok on their end. I called the Netgear help line. What a joke. They are in the Philippines and there is a language barrier. I ended up having 5 different calls to them trying to get the modem working better. Two calls they just dropped the connection on me because I was pushing for a resolution. Returned this and got a separate Motorola modem and an Asus router and I now have blazing connections.

This is a step up from what I had but the range is no better then my old one. I have moved the antennas all different ways and nothing. Netgear used to be a lot better back in the day. I was told that this has wonderful range nope very short and intermittent, this is way bigger then expected and runs on the hotter side. I thought I had 30 days to return it but it was 15 days so guess I'm stuck with it. Really disappointed.

This router has improved the range of our internet wireless network. We have been pleased with it so far, especially that it has two different frequencies that one can choose.

I decided to “upgrade” from a Netgear AC1900 R7000 as I also upgraded to Comcast gigabyte service from Blast 120MBPS. The upgrade was easy and everything was ok at the Ethernet level and 5Mhz WiFi level that could broadcast up 1 story. But the 2.4Mhz really struggled to broadcast with any capacity 2 stories up. I ended up having to Ethernet in my AC1900 to the AC3200 so I could get a decent internet signal to my Roku’s on the top floor of my house. That was disappointing. My bandwidth closer to the unit is plentiful and fast. The AC1900 is better at sending a signal up 2 stories.

I like this modem/router combination. It has more functions than I will probably ever use. I bought it as an upgrade from the 1900, because I wanted a better “throw” of the wifi signal. Here is why I only gave it 4 stars, I do not see a wider range of the signal that my 1900 gave. So from a “simple man” using it the upgrade is debatable. Again, it’s functionality is greater than the 1900 and if you are much smarter than me (I doubt that would be difficult), the this modern/router is a good bye.
