this was the best investment i have made in awhile... wireless signal is so strong outside that my cell phone and tablet pick it up more than 100 ft away.... no more buffering when streaming TV now either.... gave Spectrum back their inferior modem..

Can use several devices at one time. I bought this thinking it would help with connection issues. Come to find out, Comcast keeps losing the signal to the house. If not for that, this thing would be awesome.

No IPv6 :c Excellent coverage though, I'm in an extremely old house with tons of pointless doors and rock and lots of metal ductwork and this helped.

ONCE THE SYSTEM IS SET UP WITH THE INTERNET COMPANY, IT NEEDED TO BE CHECKED AND POWERED ON BY NETGEAR TECK SUPPORT AND FROM THERE ITS THE MOST EFFECTIVE ROUTER MODEM EQUIPMENT FOR THE ENTIRE HOUSE. OTHERWISE IT WONT WORK WELL.

I have no expertise with this type of equipment. Recommended to my son by an excellent Best Buy representative. I replaced an item that failed. Decent price and have had no problems since it was installed.

Signal definitely hits the whole house. 3 stars because it drops the internet connection alot and connecting to it is sometimes a hastle

Everything runs better but it electronics disconnects at times and we have to restart the modem for it to reconnect.

Was tired of having a modem and a router so finally decided to give these a try. The range seemed a bit lacking but still got the job done.

So far, I'm impressed. Seems my WIFI now reaches to one of my outbuildings that is about 50 yards from the unit and going through 2 walls. And my laptop is responding like I am right next to it.

Excellent product. Connectivity has never been better. I used to have spotty connection until I invested in this bad boy. Wish i would have bought this one from the start instead of going cheap.

So I have a superfast cable connection but video chat was sketchy (majorly needed to be good in this time of quarantine) Sooo, I got this and now I am getting the speeds I paid for AND no dropped packets. Total game changer.

Grabbed this to replace my Xfinity leased modem and have been very happy. We stream, play online and do tons of video conferencing - all without skipping a beat. Highly recommended.

I upgraded my internet speed to 1gbps down, and I needed a 3.1 docsis modem. I don't like being technical, so I'll say that it is working great so far. I only wish that I didn't have to pay as much for it as I did.

Had this for a few years now. Still going strong. I was having wifi drops about a year in, but honestly I think those drops come from service probiders and not the router/modem.

Works as expected. Have not had to reset as offten as the ISP provided ones. Had better Wi-Fi routers.

Awesome router modem combo. All the reviews said it was easy to set up. But not for me I had to call netgear for help setting it up.

The most expensive one that the Best Buy store had after frequent frustration with my five year old modem, but now I have no disconnects. The only real downside since I live in one room is that the lights make it hard to sleep.

Had some trouble setting it up with my internet provider, but once I got it up and running it was much 100 times better than the modem that the modem they provided.

TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE I WILL NEVER FORGET!!! I was just recently diagnosed with a rare and aggressive cancer, went through some major surgery, and am still healing from all the crap I have had to go through. Looking to save money on bills, I decided to purchase my own modem/router. Of course since I have Comcast, they only accept a FEW third party modems. The C7800 offered the best option to last this family years to come. I ordered this C7800 from Best Buy for the full price of $370.00, than soon after I purchased this modem/router, I fount it over $100 cheaper on the Netgear site! Since Best Buy has a PRICE MATCH GUARANTEE!!! LIES!!!! I was told "Sorry but we can't price match you on THIS specific product", with NO explanation as to why, I was advised to just return the Modem once received, and place my order WITH NETGEAR! I did as told, and now I am out $435.00 for the next SEVERAL WEEKS! I returned the package Via UPS STORE DROP OFF 0/23/2020. Best Buy received the package back 04/27/2020, yet WILL NOT ACKNOWLEDGE receipt of the package until the warehouse pulls their heads out of their rears! I was told my refund will take THREE WEEKS! NEVER AGAIN!!! WORST BUY!
