I upgraded my service and needed to upgrade my modem and router. Great service for pick up during this trying time with Covid 19. The best curb side service. Other stores should take note. Way to go Best Buy!

router will work well just make sure your internet providers are dont keep resetting your network back to default and then comcast was cancelled.

This modem/router is great. It allows simultaneous work from home, streaming, and gaming. We could probably power the whole street with this.

Purchased for use with Xfinity internet service. This router/cable modem was easy to set up, and it puts out excellent signal throughout my house and outside on the deck. Very happy with it so far!!

Excellent piece of equipment. I’ve actually purchased two of these from Best Buy.my first one was via eBay site. The second one was through the bestbuy site . Very impressed.

Pro: Best out there atm. Cons: Gci tried too charge me 500 dollar connect fee too opt out of using there cable modem. Additionally there is no support and each service call is subject too more fees.

I have no regret on buying this item because it really help especially now that my daughter is having an online studies. You don’t have to worry that you’re internet will be down.

Works great. My ISP router was horrible and always cut out. I have had no issues with this one so far it made my I internet very stable

Wanted to upgrade from Old motorola wifi and netgear router to a combo and after multiple reviews from various tech sites and magazines decided to get this. So far it has not disappointed and am happy with my purchase..

It works good, no problems so far. Internet is slow sometimes but that could be because of our service.

I purchased this over one year ago to handle our 1k Mb/sec plan. I’m already on my second router due to the first one being defective. It happens, but I have continued to have issues with the new one not covering our entire house very well. More recently one of the 2 channels would stop working, so I would have to switch over to the other WiFi channel & then all of a sudden the webpage would load up again. Unfortunately, the warranty on parts isn’t covered from the time we received the replacement, but rather from the original one purchased so we’re out of luck. As a result, I went went with Xfinity’s modem and I’m already noticing far better WiFi coverage in our house than with the Netgear Nighthawk. I purchased the Netgear C7800 in order to save money in the long run, but instead had to deal with a year’s worth of frustrations and buying a WiFi extender to try to boost the signal which cost me even more money all for nothing. It was a waste because the xFi Gateway seems to be doing a much better job than the C7800 ever did and XFinity will include up to 2 pods for free if it is determined that our WiFi coverage is insufficient. I truly regret I purchased this product. I should have gone with the xFi Gateway from the beginning.

Bought this for my daughter's new home so no more renting the equipment from Cox! Seems to be working fine as I have not heard any complaints & seemed to be easy to set up!

Great router for gamers! Kinda difficult to get setup but maybe that was just me. Once setup the thing is solid.

Spectrum's supplied cable modem would not allow for a 1:1 firewall relationship between a specific external IP and a particular PC on my lan. This solves my remote desktop security concerns.

It works well; however it disconnects a lot. I have to wait for it to reboot. For price of the equipment I don't expect it to disconnect at all.

Was looking for an update to my old router. Even though it said it was Spectrum approved. It was not Spectrum approved to use for my area. They would not allow use.. "unsupported". Very disappointing... so we had to return it. Sorry..can't give a review. I have an old netgear nighthawk and it's always functioned great. So we just reconnected it and is working great. We have confidence in the net gear products. Wish we had comcast.

I purchased Netgear Nighthawk X45 C7800 on 09/03/2020. It was working like a charm in the beginning. Then I started to have intermittent internet connection. I don't remember the exact date it started to act up. But it must have started from a few months ago (today is 11/10/2021). Most time, I just reset the modem/router combo, and it will have no problem for some time. Finally, it reached the critical point and needs reset more frequently. I gathered my courage to call Comcast/Xfinity -- the call was never pleasant since it is the sole provider in my town. The lady did some diagnostic check, and then told me that the issue is with the modem/router. She can't provide any evidence to me, but merely a ticket number. Then I checked the warranty for this device, and found out it was expired on 9/03/2020. What a bummer!! Maybe I should have called Comcast when it acted up for the first time? At the same time, I am amazed at the quality control of NetGear product. It started to function improperly pretty much right after the warranty is expired. Is it a coincidence?
