    It's hard to say whether this is a good product or not. It has amazing reviews but didn't work with Cox Communications when I hooked it up (at least in my particular situation it didn't). I had to return it.

    Easy setup, great product but it wouldn’t do what it was meant to do. At first I thought it was my ISP that wasn’t providing 1000 mbps... but I switched out the modem for one of my ISP and it worked. Possibly a bad modem?

    Very disappointed. Purchased to replace an 8 yo modem/router. Spent over 1 hr trying to set up. I finally had to call my ISP and found out this was not compatible with our local ISP. Even though it says it is "backwards" compatible it is not. Returned to BB and had to purchase the next lower model. I can't really comment on quality and value since it could not be set up with my ISP.

    Seemed like a good router but netgear had horrible customer service and couldn’t figure out why my router was not connecting to the internet. Long story short it wasn’t compatible with my local cable company.

    bought just 26 days before - not working anymore

    This device is dead which was boutgh 26 days back, Netgear unable to fix it and told to return the device to BestBuy, but bestbuy cannot take it back because it is over 14 days of purchase date (bought this 26 days back). Spoke to Netgear again, they said they cannot provide cash back..but instead they will replace the product. Now I need to sent the defective device on my shipping cost to Netgear and once they receive it and they will the new one ( not sure how long the new one work). I lost my time , tired of talking to netgear, bestbuy....worst monday ever i had.

    Not worth the Price

    I’m sure this is a good piece of equipment based on other reviews I read before purchase. Except our particular model always dropped our internet (even wired Ethernet connections). Netgear has a Nighthawk application that is used to troubleshoot their Nighthawk series devices however this one is not compatible with it. Save yourself the money and if you don’t need/pay for Gb speeds just buy the C7000v2.
