Hands Down The Best
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If you want the Best Modem/Router Combo for everything this is the one you want. I would add a picture but sadly I had to return it cause my parents as well as my wife would put papers on top of it which caused it to burn out. I recommend this to everyone

Totally worth price!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I never give 4 / 5 stars ⭐️ but this product is definitely worth it. Netgear Nighthawk is an ABSOLUTE BEAST! Many reviews complain about price but keep in mind, it’s a modem / router combo! So just think of it as being $200 for MODEM / $169 for router. Like many others, was sick n tired of renting modem/router from ISP so I thought of this as an investment which would pay for itself by month 15 of a typical 2-yr agreement. (XFINITY rents their XB7 gateway for $14/$11 or $25/month) so this decision was quick. As for the unit...easy instructions, easy set up & self install. My whole house has excellent coverage thanks to the antennas. No dead spots whatsoever! Also I love the four Ethernet ports for hard wiring. I simply ran a new CAT6 ethernet cable from my Nighthawk to my laptop—I’m always pulling around 790 Mbps download & 75 Mbps upload . My plan from ISP calls for “up to 1.0 Gbps/1000 Mbps download & 35 Mbps upload so on the upload side—I’m WAY over advertised speed and I love it! Note: It’s ALL about THE upload so if you do a lot of live streaming like me such as your own YouTube channel... it’s all about the UPLOAD! That’s precisely why I got the gigabit plan-FOR THE HIGH UPLOAD SPEEDS!

Solid as a rock!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Fastest Xfinity modem right out of the box and setup is simple. If you have gigabit ethernet and a lot of wireless devices buy this device. It will eliminate bottlenecks and save you hours of management headaches.

Solid cable modem/Wi-Fi router combo
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.A solid cable modem/Wi-Fi router. I used to have a separate modem & router setup, but with this it's all in one, which I like a lot for the simplicity. Also my previous cable modem couldn't do 600 Mbps download speed, this one can do that (and much more!). I did have to call Comcast to make it work with their system, but besides that the setup was painless. Also the Wi-Fi signal strength is great, much better than my old router!

NETGEAR AC3200 Router/Modem
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I am very happy with my purchase of the NETGEAR AC3200 Router/Modem. My experience at the Boulder Best buy store was outstanding. My Best Buy advisor was extremely knowledgeable on this system - great job - greatly appreciated!! It was fairly easy to setup and my devices are definitely running much smoother with faster speeds as I had hoped for. Again thank you Best Buy and NETGEAR!!

So much hardware, such poor software.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The worst system. Had to return the unit 2x. Spent easily 20 hours trying to get this network to have acceptable coverage. Gave up and went with Eero. C7800 Was not compatible with their latest mobile app until this month. Forced users to use a web interface. Signal coverage was terrible compared to EERO. And dont get me started on their extenders. Everyone of them with their own ip address and setup. EERO kills this product. UI and support are unparalleled.

Good unit
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This has been a good unit so far. A little over 2 years of ownership and Ive only experienced a few minor hiccups (fixed with software update). The interface through the web and app could use to be improved. It works for about 6 high bandwidth devices (smart TV, phone or laptop). Once you get past 6 is really starts to slow down on wifi.

Great Buy
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I do not regret this purchase at all. I have 3 gaming PC's, 3 tablets, Alexa, 4 phones, and 4 TV's all pulling internet from this Netgear. I test my internet speed a lot, and have yet had a 5G wireless speed come in at under 400mbs on my gaming PCs. I honestly am impressed with this Modem/Router. When I say 4 TV's. All 4 TV's are smart TV's and only use streaming services. Not one has a cable to it other than the Power cable. I use NO hard lines from this Netgear. All devices are wireless and this Netgear makes it all possible.

Great at first
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. For the first few months this thing was great. My brother had speeds just as fast as my LAN speeds. Here comes the but though. The wifi/internet started to randomly drop and it would takes ages to come back online. I'm almost positive this isn't a Spectrum issue as other users have had this issue while using other IPs. Not sure how to fix this problem, besides unplugging and plugging it back in, but if it didn't drop the internet every few days then I would rate it 5 stars. Since I never know when I'll have internet and the price being so high, only 2 stars.
