Worked as intended. I have a custom built desktop from 3 years ago and they didn't have wifi adapters for motherboards then, but now this has come in handy. Works good as long as your provider is good.

This item does what is says. I can now stream from the basement, even though the router is on the second floor. WiFi is killing it when I stream videos.

Upgraded my Router and my computer did not support 6E. Works like a charm for a computer I bought for $30 and upgraded for about $150.

Works as it should, laptop had hardly any internet connection and this helped a lot. You can either plug it into the computer as a thumb drive or there is an extension if you’re using a docking station. Very nice and easy to setup/ use

I’ve been using the Netgear Nighthawk Tri-Band WiFi Adapter for a bit, and I really like it so far. It’s fast and stable—I’m consistently getting 120 Mbps down on my 150 Mbps circuit, which is solid. The range is great too; even though my access point is pretty far away, it still works without any issues. The only downside is that it’s a bit bulky if you plug it straight into a laptop or PC. It looks a lot better and feels more practical when connected to a dock, though. Overall, I’m happy with it and wouldn’t hesitate to buy it again.

Honestly I really like this thing! It works really well and it helped my wifi. I am not sure why the other reviews said it didnt help. It helped alot and it was easy to install.

I have always had more success using external Wi-Fi adapters on my laptops than what is typically installed internally. Also big fan of Netgear products so this Wi-Fi adapter is a marriage made in heaven. It connects first time, every time. I am not rich by any means but there is something to be said for not making low price ones primary decision point.
