Always been a fan of NETGEAR, but unfortunately someone in my household purchased a different router that caused issues with my wireless headset so I had to take matters into my own hands. I purchased a new NETGEAR router and the issue went away while improving every device in our household. Would 100% recommend netgearto family and friends

I ended up returning this for the high end model RS700s. My daughter complained that the internet was slow on her apple device and I had trouble setting up some of my streaming boxes. I set up the RS700S and it is a lot better. No issues at all and it is very fast.

Meh. Eden I first got this, I thought it was great, but after a couple of months, it doesn't seem like it's working as well. Works good sometimes. Often, it buffers with our Midco internet tv. I bought this router that the BB associate recommended for the square feet of our home. I reboot the Tivo all the time- reboot the router and the modem-got a new modem. I don't think this is much better than the 6 year old router I replaced for this one.

My experience in the store was nothing short of amazing. I came in and asked for this specific router, which she immediately found! My review would have been 5 stars! But unfortunately they weren't able to price match with a cheaper option I found.

NETGEAR has been a stress reducer for me. I work from home and since having switched to NETGEAR I have not had any drops in my internet/wi fi. It's sleek size fits perfect in my smaller office space.

This is a quality router. Very easy to setup and begin using. I would buy again. A big part of my purchase was due to Netgear being a USA company.

The Netgear Nighthawk RS500 speed is great but range is awful. 50 ft from router and signal is lost at -70dBm. Also, very little minimal setting options. If you are the type to be able to customize settings, this is not for you, best to get Asus or TP Link.

Yes, the router was relatively easy to set up, although the GUI in the phone app is very slow to respond without any indication that it's doing anything. This was using an iPhone 16 Pro Max. 1 - the WiFi is inconsistent - devices keep getting dropped off the network at random. 2 - I was managing the router from a laptop, and at one point the browser popped up a message that there are too many devices connected to the router and you need to pay for their monthly service to get up to the 200 devices advertised (they never mentioned having to pay a monthly service to access something you shell out $400 for) 3 - Upon this message, my laptop was disconnected from the network. I used another laptop to connect, and found that the router blocked access to the first laptop because of the 20 device limit. So the router is going to randomly drop devices off the network if you happen to have (for example) 23 devices. This is unacceptable behavior for such an expensive piece of equipment. I will be returning the device as soon as I'm able to.
